What about steffy?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Steffy&#8217;s alive. She&#8217;s alive. But she&#8217;s in bad shape.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Steffy&#8217;s in very serious condition.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, my god. Oh, my god.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Does ridge know?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I called him as soon as the ambulances left the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: What am I even doing here? I got to go to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Go. Yes. Go. Just go.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: This is horrifying. I had a feeling something bad had happened.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Who would do something like this? I&#8211;I&#8211; I don&#8217;t believe it.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I can only imagine what taylor and ridge are going through. My heart is breaking for them.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I don&#8217;t want steffy to be alone. I&#8217;m gonna&#8211; I&#8217;m gonna check on her.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Li. I&#8217;m so sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Li: I am, too.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Taylor just left to see steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Li.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Li. I wanna see my son.<\/p>\n<p>Li: He&#8217;s not your son, sheila. He&#8217;s mine. Finn is my son.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Hi, sweetie. It&#8217;s mom. We&#8217;re all here with you right now, just waiting for you to wake up. You have to wake up, steffy. Hayes and kelly need you. I need you. We all need you. I&#8217;m steve.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Steffy has to be okay. She has to be, for the kids. I mean, hayes, he can&#8217;t lose both of his parents.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Steffy is tough. She will come out of this.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: God, I hope so. She was out cold when they took her away. And finn, I mean&#8211; now his life&#8217;s over?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: My heart goes out to sheila. I mean, when she finds out&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: She will be crushed.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: She already knows. I told her the terrible news about finn.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Li. This is devastating for me, for you, for all of us. I understand your heartache, &#8217;cause none of this should have happened. None of it.<\/p>\n<p>Li: I&#8217;m praying steffy is okay. She&#8217;s the mother of my grandchild. I know she loved finn very much.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We all loved finn. And we&#8217;re gonna do everything in our power to make sure his memory stays alive, okay?<\/p>\n<p>Li: Thank you. Please, give steffy my best. Tell her I&#8217;m rooting for her.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I will.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Hey. You wanna grab a cup of coffee?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I wanna see my son. You know, your father and i were just&#8211; we were just talking about you. Probably while all this was going on. We were talking about how fearless you are, how strong you are, and how you&#8217;ve been like this your entire life. And, baby, I need you to keep fighting. I need you to fight like you&#8217;ve never fought before, because I need you to come back. Please. Please, steffy, if you can hear me, I need you to come back. I need you. He&#8217;s a&#8211; a great father, a caring doctor. It&#8217;s just not fair.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Life isn&#8217;t fair, honey. This sure as hell proves it. I&#8211;look, I know that sheila isn&#8217;t exactly anyone&#8217;s favorite, but, I mean, my god, she lost her son tonight at the hands of a lunatic.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: This never should have happened. It was a terrible accident.<\/p>\n<p>Li: An accident? How can you say that?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Okay, what I meant is finn didn&#8217;t deserve this.<\/p>\n<p>Li: My son was murdered in cold blood. Shot and left to die in an alley while his wife lay bleeding next to him. Whoever did this is a vicious, evil monster, and I will make sure they pay for what they&#8217;ve done.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Of course. Who could even live with themselves after&#8211; after taking our precious&#8230; boy? We both lost a son tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Li: &#8220;We&#8221; didn&#8217;T. You can&#8217;t lose something that was never yours, sheila. Finn never accepted you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, that&#8217;s not true. We were making progress.<\/p>\n<p>Li: I adopted him, raised him, supported him. I am his mother.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: You&#8217;re my girl&#8230; forever. My strong, fearless warrior. And I feel so helpless.<\/p>\n<p>[Crying] Do you remember the song I used to sing you when you&#8217;d get scared at night sometimes? And I&#8217;d lay next to you. How is she doing?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: She is fighting for her life.<\/p>\n<p>[Sighs]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You&#8217;ve just got to&#8230; you&#8217;ve got to rest, you know? And just keep resting. And then come back to us, and you know, we&#8217;ll just&#8211; we won&#8217;t waste another moment. Not one more moment. I don&#8217;t get any of this. These machines and&#8230; &#8230;what happened. Are you one of the millions of americans<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: We&#8217;re both mothers, li. My son&#8211;our son is dead.<\/p>\n<p>Li: Stop it. I&#8217;ve heard enough out of you, sheila. You stay away from me. Do you hear me? Stay the hell away from me.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Li? Oh, I am so sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Li: I still can&#8217;t believe it.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Oh. My heart breaks for you, li. I lost a child tragically, too, and the pain isn&#8217;t describable.<\/p>\n<p>Li: I know you understand. I just&#8211;I wish steffy wasn&#8217;t in danger.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: She&#8217;s hanging in there. We&#8217;re hoping for the best.<\/p>\n<p>Li: That&#8217;s why I came by. I am, too, for the kids&#8217; sake.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Taylor. How is&#8230;steffy doing? Is&#8230;she improving?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: I mean, she&#8211; she&#8217;s hanging in there. But my daughter needs all the prayers in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: If she wakes up&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>when she wakes up, she&#8217;s gonna be able to help solve this case, find the person that did this.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Well, yeah, I mean, we are hoping that she regains consciousness, of course, but right now we just&#8211; we&#8217;re just focusing on her health. We just&#8211; we just want her to be okay.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Yeah, of course. You&#8217;re her mother. So I&#8217;m sure you can understand why I really just wanna see finn just one more time.<\/p>\n<p>Li: No. I told you. I&#8217;m taking care of my son now, the way I always have.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8217;ll tell you one thing. The cops aren&#8217;t gonna stop until they catch this killer. High profile case like this, that shooter&#8217;s going down.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: If they can find him.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Oh, you better believe they will.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Any word from liam?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: No, not yet. He&#8217;s probably just getting to the hospital. I&#8230;I hope he&#8217;s okay. I mean, steffy is the mother of his child. He&#8230; he must be worried sick.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Thomas! Thomas, hey, hey. How is steffy?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: She&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;s still with us.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: [Sighs] Oh, thank god. Um&#8230;like, what? Do they&#8211;do they think she&#8217;s gonna be okay, or&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I don&#8217;t know. Liam, her condition&#8217;s critical.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Your mom loves to sing, you know. Sang to you guys all the time&#8211; birthdays, christmas, every time she put you to bed. She told me once she creates this bubble of sound to keep you safe. I don&#8217;t sing. You know that.<\/p>\n<p>[Monitor beeping steadily] Fifth grade, I think sixth&#8211; no, fifth grade. John surguy. Remember that name? Does it, uh, ring a bell at all? Little english kid you had a crash on. I think he&#8230;said he wanted to study with you after school. I remember you came home that day. You were so giddy and all dressed up. But he never showed up, did he? Your mom called me. I was at work, and all I wanted to do was go over there and&#8230; go to his house, grab that little kid and grab him by the ankles and just hang him off his balcony.<\/p>\n<p>[Sighs] Pretty immature, I know. I&#8217;m&#8211;I&#8217;m that guy. All I&#8217;m trying to say is when you get hurt, I get hurt. Every cut finger, every bruised knee, every boy that lets you down, every friend that disappoints you, every time you&#8217;re embarrassed, every time you feel fear, every time you get knocked off your motorcycle, every time you end up in here&#8230; &#8230;leaves a scar on me. And&#8230; I&#8217;m so scarred up, I don&#8217;T&#8230; I don&#8217;t like the person I&#8217;ve become. I-I&#8217;ve become the guy that can&#8217;t protect his daughter. I can&#8217;t protect you. And I can&#8217;t protect your kids. I can&#8217;t do it. And finn&#8230; so it has to be you. It has to be your music.<\/p>\n<p>[Inhales sharply] It has to be your bubble that keeps these kids safe. You gotta come back. You have to.
