We&#8217;re gonna pull you through this. Stay with us.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8217;m so sorry, sheila. I know how much you loved him.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Don&#8217;t say &#8220;loved.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I can&#8217;t believe that finn and steffy were shot. And now he&#8217;s gone. Huh.<\/p>\n<p>[ Crickets ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Fire crackling ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope giggling ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mm.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: You hear that, right? Silence.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I can&#8217;t remember the last time that we were alone. I say we take full advantage.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh my god, I love it when you read my mind<\/p>\n<p>[ Both giggling ] Get this off. Whoa! Oh!<\/p>\n<p>[ Throat clearing ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mom.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Hi!<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I told you the kids were going to be with aunt donna tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Right, uh, say no more, sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: No, no, no, stop. Wait&#8211; wait, wait, please, please come in. It&#8217;s fine it&#8217;s fine. It&#8217;s fine.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, really? I really don&#8217;t want to interrupt your evening.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Uh, no, it&#8217;s&#8211; it&#8217;s all right, just. Stay, talk. You obviously have something on your mind.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: And plus, who are we kidding? We love hearing the dirt, so.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Are you sure?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mom. What&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I&#8217;m worried about ridge.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Has something happened?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: It&#8217;s this feeling I have. Uh, a feeling that&#8217;s not really based on anything, except the connection that I have with ridge. It&#8217;s hard to explain. It&#8217;s just that I feel like there&#8217;s something terribly wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Hey. I&#8217;m going to need you to do something for me. For all of us. All right, my fierce, determined daughter. I want you to take all the strength you have. And come back to us. It&#8217;s not gonna end like this. We&#8217;re family, we&#8217;re all here for you. It&#8217;s not going to end because some random person wants to take away our future.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8211; I don&#8217;t know what to say. Or how to help you. I mean, all you wanted was a place in finn&#8217;s life. And now, this. It&#8217;s so unbearable.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You said that you&#8211; you found them in the alley behind il giardino?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I went to take the trash out, and, uh&#8230; I just&#8211; I saw &#8217;em lying on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Did you see anything else? Who might have done this?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Whoever did this, he&#8217;s long gone. I mean, what kind of lowlife shoots two innocent people in cold blood?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No!<\/p>\n<p>You shot your son.<\/p>\n<p>We need to get help!<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I didn&#8217;t mean to.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You&#8217;re sick.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re going to prison for<\/p>\n<p>the rest of your life.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Put it down now!<\/p>\n<p>No!<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila. I&#8217;m with you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Kissing ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ridge and I have always been able to pick up on what the other is going through. And right now, something feels off.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I mean that tracks. Ridge is trying to make sense of what happened. He&#8217;s apart from you right now.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, I mean, what&#8211; taylor&#8217;s presence obviously complicates things, but it&#8217;s gotta be a good thing that, that ridge is spending his time surrounded by people who love him, and not, you know, brooding alone in a hotel room. I speak from experience.<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mom. Ridge&#8230; I think knows where he&#8217;s supposed to be, and I believe that he knows that deep down inside, and no amount of time spent in steffy&#8217;s guesthouse will change that. I do believe that he will eventually come back home to you.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I&#8217;m gonna hold on to that.<\/p>\n<p>[ Hope chuckling ] And in the meantime, maybe it will be good for ridge to spend some time with his children. Especially steffy. He loves her and adores her, and I don&#8217;t know why, but he feels like he wasn&#8217;t there enough as her father when she was younger and he didn&#8217;t give her enough attention. So, now he can take advantage of the time that he has with her. Yeah, he&#8217;s got a lot to make up for. Life is short.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Can&#8217;t believe this. You. Lying here so still. These wires plugged into you, it&#8217;s&#8211; you&#8217;re always in motion, steff. You can&#8217;t stay like this. You need to come back, okay? Because there are a lot of people that need you. Kelly needs you, and hayes needs you. Douglas needs you. And I need you. You&#8217;re my best friend. You always pull me up, when I fall down. And you&#8217;re there to pull me down when my ego gets too big. Steffy. You&#8217;re so strong. Use that strength. Come back to us. Please. Please.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door creaking ]<\/p>\n<p>Doctor: We need to examine her.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Of course.<\/p>\n<p>Doctor: Any changes?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No, uh, the same.<\/p>\n<p>Doctor: Alright.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We&#8217;ll be right outside.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: We&#8217;re not going anywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: What the hell happened tonight?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I don&#8217;t know. We&#8217;re all trying to&#8211; process that finn is gone.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: God, it doesn&#8217;t even make sense. He&#8217;S&#8230; he&#8217;s just gone, just like that. Who would do this? What kind of monster would&#8211; would shoot our daughter? Ill finn and&#8211; and leave them lying in an alley. Who would do this?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I&#8211; I just, I don&#8217;t understand how this could happen. What was he even doing in the alley?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: It just doesn&#8217;t make any sense.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yeah, it probably never will.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I was getting to know him. He was letting me know him. I just&#8211; I love him so much. He was&#8211; he was my life. He was my future, and now he&#8217;s ju&#8211; just gone. He&#8217;s gone. He&#8217;s just gone.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sobbing ]<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Sheila I&#8217;m so sorry.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sobbing ] I&#8217;m so sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Why, why finn? Why?<\/p>\n<p>[ Sobbing ] To be a thriver with metastatic breast cancer means&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Ridge still hasn&#8217;t responded.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I mean he could just I&#8211; be out to dinner or in a meeting.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah, but it would be easy for him to just pick up the phone and tell me that.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: This feeling that you&#8217;re having is really doing a number on you, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I can&#8217;t shake it, which means there&#8217;s something to it.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I, uh, take it that means this has happened before.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I know it sounds crazy, but ridge and I know, on a visceral level, when something has shifted for the other, and the longer it takes him to answer the phone, the more and more worried I get. He&#8217;s my husband. I still love him. And if ridge is going through something, I want to be there for him.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: This doesn&#8217;t seem real.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Those machines.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Honey, those machines are keeping her alive. As long&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: What happened? What happened in that alley?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Why were they there in the first place? I mean, steffy can&#8217;t&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: She&#8217;s not going to. She&#8217;s not going anywhere, thomas. Conscious or not, she knows she has to be here for her children. Okay? She&#8217;s not going anywhere. Stop. No.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: I wonder&#8211; I wonder if she, uh&#8230; she saw it? Finn.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Oh, I hope not.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Oh god, me too. Oh, god. Sheila. I can&#8217;t help but think about sheila right now, even. No matter what she&#8217;s done in the past, she&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;s a mother, she&#8217;s&#8211; I can&#8217;t imagine the devastation she&#8217;s going to feel when she finds out that&#8211; that finn is gone.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You know, I&#8211; how could everything change so fast? Like there&#8217;s no time. Do you think&#8211; my son knew that I loved him?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yeah. I do.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I want to go to him. I want to go to the hospital. I just&#8211; I&#8211; just&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Hold on.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I just want to see him one more time.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Okay, just a heads up. You may run into steffy&#8217;s family. I had to call ridge and tell him that his daughter had been shot. I&#8217;m guessing that ridge and taylor and thomas made a beeline for her bedside so that they could&#8211; they could will her back.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: What&#8211; what are you saying?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I called ridge. I&#8211; I told.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: What&#8211;will her back?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yeah, they&#8217;re praying that she pulls through.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Pulls through? Steffy&#8217;s alive?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Yeah, thank god. Yes. Here&#8217;s to real flavors&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mom, you&#8217;ll hear when ridge texts or calls.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I know, honey, I know it&#8217;s silly to keep checking, I just want to make sure everything is okay. It doesn&#8217;t have to be a big conversation. I just want to know I&#8217;m putting too much stock in this vague intuition.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, is there anything we can do?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, whatever you need, we&#8217;re here for you.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: That means so much to me, really thank you. I love you.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Aw, mom, we love you. It&#8217;s okay.<\/p>\n<p>[ Loud knocking ] Oh!<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Deacon.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I&#8211; I just wanted to check in, make sure you&#8217;re okay.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Yeah, what why? What&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You haven&#8217;t heard.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Uh, evidently not.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Is it ridge? Is something wrong?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: You&#8211; you need to brace yourself for shock.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Okay, dad, you&#8217;re scaring me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Just say it.<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: I was working at il giardino tonight. I was&#8211; taking the trash out in the alley. And that&#8217;s when I saw them on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Saw who?<\/p>\n<p>Deacon: Finn and steffy. They were shot.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah, thanks. I&#8217;ll keep you posted.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Is donna gonna watch the kids?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Yeah. She&#8217;ll, she&#8217;ll watch douglas and beth and amelia is going to watch kelly and hayes.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: That little boy lost his dad tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Steffy&#8217;s going to need us like never before, especially now that finn is&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Two of them had their whole future ahead of them.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas: Crazy. I mean, how is it that finn is gone, and steffy is in there fighting for her life?<\/p>\n<p>Taylor: Thomas, she&#8217;s going to pull through. She&#8217;s going to make it. Because we lost phoebe, we&#8217;re not gonna&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Don&#8217;t&#8211;don&#8217;t do that. Don&#8217;t do that. She&#8211; she&#8217;s gonna be fine. She&#8217;s going to be here for her kids. She&#8217;s going to be okay.
