We could [Sighs] Get a dog of our own.

Michael: Yeah, someday.

Willow: And when will that be, exactly? It’s not as if things will slow down when I become a nurse.

Michael: You know what I can’t wait to do?

Willow: What?

Michael: Sleep in when we’re in Paris, as long as we want.

Willow: Are you out of your mind? I have never been, and there’s so much to see. I mean, the Louvre alone…

Michael: Right. Well, I guess I just gotta find ways to convince you to stay in bed, then.

Willow: You can be very convincing.

Brook Lynn: Well, it’s good to see some things haven’t changed. At least you two are still together.

[ Knock on glass ]

Finn: Hey. Come on in.

Chase: Hey.

Finn: What are you up to?

Chase: Very little. You want to know how many hours are left in my suspension?

Finn: I thought you had two more months to go.

Chase: I do. And I can still tell you the answer to that question.

Finn: Look, I, um… I know you might be bummed, but Violet is loving having her Uncle Chase at her tea parties.

Chase: Okay, that is one side to unemployment. When is your next date night, so I can come babysit?

Finn: Mm. You’re welcome to visit Violet anytime you like, but… my “date nights” with Elizabeth are over.

Elizabeth: How do you want your eggs?

Cameron: I’m not too hungry right now.

Elizabeth: I’m sorry? Who are you and what have you done with my son? Are you not feeling well?

Cameron: I just, uh — I went to bed late last night, so I’m still half asleep. Uh, I’m fine.

Jake: What’s for breakfast?

Cameron: Thought you didn’t have school today.

Jake: I don’t. Uh, professional development day.

Cameron: Why are you up so early, then?

Elizabeth: This is so nice, all of us eating together.

Jake: Uh, Finn, too?

Elizabeth: No. But I’m glad you brought him up. We need to talk about Finn.

Ava: It’s a little ornate, don’t you think?

Nikolas: I do. But isn’t that the point? Make a show of our vow renewal to draw Uncle Victor in under the guise of family togetherness? Assuming Spencer shows for the ceremony and the family is actually together.

Ava: Well, yeah, that — that is the plan. But the ceremony isn’t all about Victor — or Spencer, for that matter. It’s still very much about us, isn’t it? I love you, Nikolas Cassadine, and I cannot wait to exchange vows with you and actually mean the words this time.

Nikolas: I can’t wait for that, either.

Esme: Showtime.

Carly: Well, good morning.

Josslyn: Good morning. I hope it’s okay that I slept here.

Carly: Are you kidding? Best surprise ever.

Josslyn: Well, I would have given you a heads-up, but it was late and I didn’t wanna wake you.

Carly: No heads-up needed. This is your home. Is everything okay?

Josslyn: Yeah, yeah. I just — I didn’t really feel like sleeping at the dorms last night.

Carly: Okay, any particular reason why?

Josslyn: I can’t go back to school, mom. Never. [ Crying ]

Carly: Oh! Oh, baby.

Ava: And the flowers must be elegant, of course. Oh, and a spectacular bouquet for when I walk down the aisle.

Esme: Wedding planning?

Nikolas: Hello, Esme.

Ava: For our vow renewal, yes.

Esme: Laura said you were having a private ceremony, just the two of you — which is super romantic, don’t get me wrong — but Avery would just make an adorable flower girl.

Nikolas: Actually… we’ve changed our mind on that, and we’ve…decided we’d like our family to be there.

Esme: Really? Uh, Spence didn’t mention anything. Does he know?

Nikolas: Not yet.

Ava: W-we just decided last night.

Nikolas: I’m going to visit Spencer and invite him in person.

Esme: I hate to say it…

Ava: But you will.

Esme: I wouldn’t bother inviting Spence at all.

Michael: So, uh, how’d the visit with your mom go?

Brook Lynn: It was good. Well, my mom said and did all the right things. I got to, you know, see my cousins, which was nice. Hit all our favorite spots.

Michael: Giuseppe’s?

Brook Lynn: [ Scoffs ] Of course.

Willow: What’s that?

Brook Lynn: It’s only the best pizza in Brooklyn.

Michael: Oh, yeah, it’s off the charts.

Willow: Well, sounds like… you kept busy. Yeah.

Brook Lynn: It felt good to be back in the old neighborhood. I just — I needed to get away.

Michael: And now you’re back.

Brook Lynn: Now I’m back. I guess the first order of business is getting all my stuff out of the beach house.

Michael: Oh, that’s done. Yeah, everything had to be out last week, so Chase and I, we moved your stuff.

Brook Lynn: What? I’m sorry. Thank you.

Michael: Eh, no problem.

Brook Lynn: Okay. Guess it’s time to get back to real life.

Willow: And what does that look like for you?

Brook Lynn: I have absolutely no idea.

Elizabeth: We won’t be seeing Finn for a while.

Jake: Did you guys break up?

Elizabeth: No, more like taking time apart. I just want to be able to focus on our family right now.

Jake: Is this because of the weird stuff that’s been happening?

Elizabeth: Well, I am worried about that, and I do need to figure out what’s going on. But more than that, I just want to make sure my boys are safe and happy. You are my number-one priority.

Cameron: We know that, mom.

Elizabeth: Do you?

Jake: Yes. Okay.

Elizabeth: Good. But things haven’t really felt safe and happy lately, right? Which is why I made you an appointment to see Dr. Massey today.

Jake: A shrink?

Elizabeth: A psychiatrist. I just thought it’d be a good chance for you to talk about your feelings.

Jake: That’s just great, mom.

Elizabeth: What?

Jake: You think I’m a psycho.

Chase: What’s going on with you and Elizabeth?

Finn: She’s, um, concerned about the whole portrait thing.

Chase: I get that.

Finn: Yeah, me, too.

Chase: I-I spoke with Dante, and he said he has a patrol car going by, you know, every hour.

Finn: I know, and that’s a — that’s a big relief. But…? But Elizabeth thinks it might be something closer to home — in the home, to be exact. She… she thinks Jake might be acting out.

Chase: I thought — I thought Jake and Aiden denied doing it.

Finn: They did, but now that Betsy Frank has been crossed off the list, Jake is the most logical suspect, unfortunately.

Chase: So — so Elizabeth breaks up with you because she’s having issues with Jake? I’m sorry, but isn’t that an overreaction?

Finn: Not if you consider everything the kid’s been through.

Carly: Come on, talk to me, okay? Let me help you.

Josslyn: I can’t. I really can’t. It’s too horrible. I can’t even think about it, let alone say it out loud.

Carly: Okay, listen to me. You can tell me anything, alright? Tell me what’s going on and we’ll fix it.

Josslyn: It can’t be fixed.

Carly: Hey, try me. Come on.

Josslyn: [ Sighs ]

Carly: Talk to me.

Josslyn: The ski weekend at sonny’s cabin…

Carly: Yeah?

Josslyn: …Cam and I had sex.

Carly: Okay?

Josslyn: And it was our first time, and I never thought that something like this could even happen. I feel so stupid.

Carly: Are you pregnant?

Nikolas: You really believe Spencer won’t come to the ceremony? Last time I saw him, it felt like we were making progress.

Esme: You were. I-I think things are getting better with you and Spence, too. It’s just…

Ava: Spencer will never accept me as part of the family.

Esme: I’m sorry, but, no, he won’t.

Nikolas: Well, I really hope you’re wrong, because Ava is not going anywhere.

[ Cellphone ringing ]

Ava: Oh. Excuse me, I have to take this. Hello.

Nikolas: What is it?

Esme: You’re, um… not the man I thought you were. I-I had a picture of you in my head from everything Spence told me about his father.

Nikolas: I can guess what Spencer said about me.

Esme: I don’t think you can.

Michael: I’m guessing it’s pretty hard to get back to life as normal without, you know, Bailey.

Brook Lynn: I still have deception.

Willow: Brook Lynn.

Brook Lynn: Come on, guys, I’m going to be fine. This was always the plan. It was actually more than the plan. This — this was the goal — for Bailey to be with Maxie, where she belongs.

Willow: Yes, yes. Of course, that was the plan. But that doesn’t mean that you didn’t… fall in love with that little girl or that…this isn’t hard on you.

Michael: It’s okay to admit that. You know, um… you weren’t in Port Charles at the time, but I’m sure my family filled you in — when I… when I found out that — that Sonny was responsible for A.J.’S death.

Brook Lynn: Yeah, the father who raised you killed your biological father. That must’ve been brutal.

Michael: Yeah. [ Chuckles ] So, uh, I retaliated. I-I… [ Inhales deeply ] I took from Sonny what he loved the most — Avery. I was able to find legal grounds to prove that he was unfit, and I was appointed as Avery’s custodial guardian. So for five months, I was her only parent. I know it’s not a perfect parallel.

Brook Lynn: It’s close enough.

Michael: Yeah. I mean, she wasn’t my child. She’s my — my sister, and I knew deep down the entire time that the whole situation was only temporary. But for those months, I saw her and I was with her every single day. I-I was the one to read her stories, to — to feed her, to change her. I-I brought her to work and I played blocks with her. Yeah. But then when my — my mother convinced me to give Avery back, I don’t know, Avery, she — she — she left a huge, gaping hole in my life and in my heart. And even though I knew it was the right thing to do, it — you know, that didn’t make it any easier.

Brook Lynn: Okay, yeah. Giving up Bailey is… excruciating, okay, guys? But I’m gonna get over it. [ Sighs ] And when I do, I’m gonna go back to my, you know, single, care-free life — the life I always wanted before all this.

Michael: Do you, uh, really think you’re the same person, though?

Willow: I don’t.

Michael: You did an amazing thing, protecting Bailey from her father.

Brook Lynn: It didn’t start out that way.

Michael: It doesn’t matter how it started.

Willow: Maxie was in trouble and you came through for your friend.

Brook Lynn: Didn’t expect that from me, did you? [ Chuckles ]

Michael: No, but I should have. I’ve always, uh, known you — you have a big heart.

Brook Lynn: Well, I didn’t do it alone. When I needed help, Chase was right there.

Chase: Wow.

Finn: Yeah.

Chase: I had no idea Jake went through all that.

Finn: Pretty grim stuff for anyone, but a kid that age?

Chase: Well, no wonder he’s having a hard time. But that was — that was years ago, right? I mean, he’s doing better?

Finn: He was, after some serious counseling. He was doing really good, but think about it — first he loses Franco, then Jason, then I enter the picture, and all of a sudden, these strange things start happening — Elizabeth’s wedding ring, her dress, the portrait.

Chase: All unsettling, but not overtly dangerous.

Finn: Exactly. What if it’s Jake crying out for help?

Elizabeth: First of all, I don’t like the term “psycho.”

Jake: Fine. Nuts? Crazy? Loco? Take your pick.

Elizabeth: I don’t think you’re any of those things.

Cameron: Look, seeing a therapist doesn’t mean you’re crazy, Jake.

Elizabeth: We all need to talk to someone every once in a while.

Jake: You think I put that painting there. Even though I swore to you I didn’t, you don’t believe me.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Cameron: That’s not what mom is saying. You’ve just been through a lot lately.

Jake: Great. You think I’ve lost it, too.

Cameron: No, I don’t.

Jake: Connor just sent me this video, asking if it’s really you. What’d you post?

Cameron: Nothing. Hey, Jake! Don’t!

Josslyn: No, I’m not pregnant.

Carly: Oh, thank God.

Josslyn: We used protection. That’s not the problem.

Carly: Okay, baby, what’s going on? That night was perfect. At least that part was. It was everything that a first time should be.

Carly: Okay.

Josslyn: But then, in sociology class, everyone’s phones started blowing up, and all eyes were on me and Cam…

Carly: mm-hmm.

Josslyn: …And we had no idea why. Then someone sent this video to Professor Khan’s computer, and the whole thing played in front of the whole class on this giant screen…

Carly: I-I don’t understand. What was on the video?

Josslyn: Cameron and me… having sex. Someone filmed us and sent it to the entire school.

—————————————-

Nikolas: If it’s all the same to you, I’d rather not hear the horrible things Spencer said about me.

Esme: Oh, no, no, no, that’s — that’s not what I meant at all. Spence loves you. I mean, it borders on worship, actually. He said you were the best father in the universe. It made me jealous, actually, of how close you two were when he was growing up. Spence made it seem like it was the two of you against the world.

Nikolas: It was. You said I’m not the man you expected me to be. If Spencer painted me in a positive light —

Esme: oh [Chuckles] A glowing light.

Nikolas: Does that mean that I’m…worse than you expected?

Carly: How could someone do that to you?

Josslyn: You know, I guess it’s not the worst thing in the world. I mean, everyone seems to have sex tapes or naked photos these days —

Carly: this isn’t funny, Josslyn. It’s not a joke.

Josslyn: Mom, I don’t know what else to do.

Carly: This is a complete violation. Someone took a private moment between you and your boyfriend and made it public without your consent. I have to get Spinelli to take it off the web. Oh, my god.

Josslyn: Yeah, that’s a good idea.

Carly: How could this happen? How did this happen? Do you know?

Josslyn: Mom, no, I don’t know. I didn’t even know that there was a camera in that bedroom.

Carly: Oh, my god.

Josslyn: Neither did Cam. I mean, Sonny wouldn’t have…

Carly: Have a camera in the cabin? No. God, no!

Josslyn: Yeah, I didn’t think so. But the only people there that night were me, Trina, and Cameron.

Carly: What about Esme and Spencer?

Josslyn: I told you, they’d left. You know that she had the nerve to accuse Trina yesterday?

Carly: Are you serious? I mean, did she really think that you and Cam were going to fall for that? Joss?

Josslyn: I don’t know. I mean, Trina, she got pretty drunk at the cabin — I mean, to the point where she couldn’t really remember what had happened the night before.

Carly: That doesn’t sound like Trina.

Josslyn: Yeah, I know, and she didn’t even drink that much. It just seemed to affect her like that. She also told us that she felt left out when Cam and I got together.

Carly: Do you really think Trina could have sent that video?

Jake: Dude, what are you doing? Hey! Give me my phone.

Elizabeth: Stop! What is going on?

Cameron: It’s just a stupid video of me. I don’t want Jake to see me make a fool out of myself.

Jake: You know I can still find it, right?

Cameron: Jake…

Jake: Or just have Connor send me the link.

Cameron: Leave it alone. Please.

Elizabeth: Go get dressed. Your appointment’s in 45 minutes.

Jake: What about breakfast?

Elizabeth: You can eat after you’re dressed.

Jake: Fine, but I know you’re just trying to get rid of me.

Elizabeth: He’s going to watch that video.

Cameron: I know.

Elizabeth: Then you may as well just tell me.

Cameron: Can I just die instead?

Elizabeth: Not an option. What is it? Did you do something stupid or dangerous?

Cameron: Nothing like that.

Elizabeth: Then what?

Cameron: I can’t tell you while you’re looking at me.

Elizabeth: [ Sighs ]

Cameron: There’s, um… some video of me going around.

Elizabeth: Yeah, that much I gathered. A video of what?

Cameron: Me and Joss having sex.

Chase: Knowing all that about Jake, I can see where Elizabeth is coming from, but it’s still a bummer.

Finn: You know, the hardest part for me is thinking about Elizabeth dealing with this on her own. And I like to be there for her, but if I do that, I’m not respecting her wishes.

Chase: Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Finn: Pretty much. But if the only way I can help is to keep my distance, then… so be it.

Chase: How long?

Finn: How long what?

Chase: How long is this — I don’t know, what do you want to call it, a pause?

Finn: Yeah, sure. Why not?

Chase: How long is this pause going to be?

Finn: It’s hard to tell. [ Exhales ] This is all very depressing. Tell me something good.

Chase: Like what?

Finn: Anything. How’s Brook Lynn?

Chase: Uh, as far as I know, she’s still out of town.

Finn: As far as you know?

Chase: I haven’t heard from her since she left.

Brook Lynn: It still blows my mind that Chase just stepped up. You know, he said he’s Bailey’s father without me even asking him.

Willow: That’s a good friend.

Brook Lynn: Yeah, I’ll say.

Michael: Yeah, we really regret giving Chase a hard time.

Willow: Oh, shoot, I have to go. I’m observing rounds at G.H.

Michael: Alright, go show those doctors up, nurse Tait.

Willow: I’m not a nurse yet.

Michael: Well… soon enough.

Willow: [ Chuckles ] Bye, Brook Lynn.

Brook Lynn: Bye. You two are just nauseatingly cute, aren’t you?

Michael: Hmm, things are going well.

Brook Lynn: Looks good on you.

Michael: Thanks. What about you?

Brook Lynn: What about me?

Michael: Well, I mean, it’s nice to have Willow by my side — someone to, you know, do life with.

Brook Lynn So? Coupledom isn’t for everyone, Michael. Some people value their space, you know? You get to do what you want when you want.

Michael: A-are you saying you’re one of those people?

Brook Lynn: Isn’t it obvious? [ Scoffs ]

Michael: Not with the way you were just talking about Chase.

Finn: You haven’t heard anything from Brook Lynn? That surprises me. She’s dodging your calls?

Chase: I haven’t called her.

Finn: You haven’t called her. And yet they say you’re the people person.

Chase: What does that mean?

Finn: What does that mean? That means you’re the one that said you wanted to at least be friends with Brook Lynn. Now you’re telling me you haven’t reached out to her?

Chase: Well, I did. I — I texted her.

Finn: Texted her. Millennials. Alright. What’d you say — write — whatever?

Chase: Well, I-I said, “how are you?” But I-I just put the — I just put the “U.” I didn’t spell it out.

Finn: Wow. Pure poetry. That really gets me right here, Wordsworth.

Chase: Well, Brook Lynn replied, but all she put was a — was a thumbs up. Nothing else. So obviously, she — she doesn’t want to — she doesn’t want to talk to me.

Finn: Yeah, you should — you should just give up, then.

Brook Lynn: Are you forgetting the whole part where Chase and I were pretending? We were partners in crime, not romance.

Michael: You said Chase was there for you.

Brook Lynn: Yeah, he was, because he’s a really good guy and — and, you know, we’re friends.

Michael: That’s it?

Brook Lynn: That’s a lot. Look, it might come to shock you, Michael, but I don’t have, like, a long list of close friends. I can’t afford to lose one. Besides, even if I felt something for Chase, it was probably a result, you know, of the situation — heightened emotions from taking care of Bailey together.

Michael: It looked like more.

Brook Lynn: Well, you need to get your eyes checked.

Michael: You know, I-I — I went over to, uh, Chase’s to apologize.

Brook Lynn: You did? How’d that go?

Michael: Uh, it went okay, actually. Uh, it might take some time, but if I play my cards right, I think we could be friends again someday.

Brook Lynn: Then I’m glad.

Michael: Yeah, me, too. But anyway, the point of me telling you all that was I could tell that — that Chase was lost without you and Bailey, just like you are.

Brook Lynn: You could tell how? Did Chase say he’s interested in me?

Josslyn: No. No, there’s no way. Trina would never humiliate me like that, or Cam.

Carly: It sounds more like something Esme would do.

Josslyn: My god, mom, everyone saw me having sex!

Carly: I know, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.

Josslyn: And — and you know what? A lot of them, a lot of people, they think that I did this on purpose — not only filmed it, but make it public. How sick is that?

Carly: Oh, Josslyn. No one who knows you and Cameron would ever think that.

Josslyn: Yeah, but what about the people who don’t? They might think that. Mom, I’m just a freshman. I’m new on campus. I got so many messages, I had to turn my phone off.

Carly: From random people?

Josslyn: Mostly. But some of the girls on the volleyball team, they texted me, asking what’s going on. How will I face them? How will I face anyone again?

Elizabeth: I can’t believe someone sent that video to your whole class.

Cameron: To the whole school, I think.

Elizabeth: Can you find out who was?

Cameron: It’s pretty easy to stay anonymous when you send stuff out like that. Plus, once it’s out there, it’s out there. I mean, even Jake’s friends are seeing it.

Elizabeth: Oh, Cameron. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Cameron: It’s way worse for Josslyn. I mean, there’s still a double standard about sex, and while there’s people giving me virtual high fives, they’re calling her a slut. It’s not right.

Elizabeth: No, it’s not. How is she holding up?

Cameron: I don’t know. She turned off her phone last night.

Elizabeth: Smart move.

Cameron: I just haven’t heard from her today, so I’m a little worried.

Elizabeth: Yeah, well, I’m worried about you. Double standard or not, this is happening to you, too. You wanna tell me how you’re feeling about it?

Cameron: I’m feeling like I never wanna talk about this ever again.

Elizabeth: You know you can tell me anything.

Cameron: Just not this, okay?

Elizabeth: Well, you should talk to someone.

Cameron: A shrink?

Elizabeth: If you want to.

Cameron: I don’t. I wish Franco was here.

Elizabeth: Me, too.

Cameron: He’d know what to say, or at least find a way to get me to laugh about all this.

Elizabeth: You’re going to get through this.

Cameron: How?

Nikolas: Letting Spencer believe I was dead… I’ll always regret that decision.

Esme: You misunderstood what I meant. I mean, Spence described you as a man of singular focus. For example, when he was young, your focus was on him. And now, according to Spence, you’re all about Ava. But I can see that’s not true. I mean, you easily have room in your heart for more than one person.

Nikolas: Of course, I do. Why can’t my son see that? Ava is no threat to him or my love for him.

Esme: I am so sorry I helped Spence hurt you and Ava. I mean, we were wrong. And I’d really like to make amends. I’ve been talking to Spence on your behalf, urging him to reconcile with you.

Nikolas: I appreciate that.

Esme: Maybe I should talk to him about the vow renewal. You know, soften Spence up before you speak with him.

Ava: [ Sighs ] I’m so sorry that took so long.

Elizabeth: Jake, if you want breakfast, come downstairs. I told you to get dressed.

Jake: I’m not going.

Elizabeth: Jake.

Jake: I don’t need to see a shrink. Please, you can’t make me go.

Elizabeth: Actually, I can. This is not punishment. I think talking to Dr. Massey could help you.

Jake: Look, I know I messed up after being on Cassadine island, but I was a kid then. I’m fine now. Why won’t you believe me?

Jake: I don’t think any of us are fine, not after losing the way we did. And now you’ve lost your dad. I know you miss him. I miss him, too.

Jake: It’s not the same.

Elizabeth: No, y-you’re right. Now, I hadn’t been with your dad for a really long time, but I will always love him because we made you. You know, I can see him in you.

Jake: You can?

Elizabeth: You are so strong, just like he was. And when you get upset, you get all quiet.

Jake: Dad didn’t talk a lot?

Elizabeth: No. But he always listened to you, didn’t he? Jake, you have so many people who love you. But sometimes it’s just easier talking to a stranger. It helped when you talked to Dr. Maddox, didn’t it?

Jake: Yeah.

Elizabeth: I-I’m sorry he’s not around anymore, but Dr. Massey is great. Will you at least give it a try?

Carly: You have nothing to be ashamed of. The video was made without your knowledge or permission, and you did not decide to make it public.

Josslyn: But people don’t know that.

Carly: The people who matter do. And as far as the rest of them, screw ’em. You can’t control what people think.

Josslyn: [ Sighs ] I just — I can’t believe this is — I can’t believe this is happening. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life. The whole world saw me naked.

Carly: That’s not true. I don’t want to minimize what you’re going through or how you’re feeling, but I want you to keep this in perspective. That’s not true. And I know you feel like everyone’s judging you right now, but they’re not.

Josslyn: But the people I see every day, what about them?

Carly: I — I know this seems insurmountable right now, you know, like it’s never going to be over, you’re never going to live it down.

Josslyn: [ Sniffles ]

Carly: But, Josslyn, life goes on, and people forget. And the next scandal is going to replace this one. I mean, trust me — I have weathered my own. And I’m still standing.

Josslyn: Yeah, but you’re stronger than I am.

Carly: No, baby… you’re stronger.

Michael: Chase didn’t exactly come out and say that he was interested in you, but, I mean, we’re not — we’re not — we’re not exactly buddy-buddy right now, like I said, so why would he confide in me about something like that?

Brooklyn: Okay, so here’s the deal. Okay, if I told Chase I wanted to be with him and he wasn’t into it, there aren’t enough words in the English language to describe how awkward that would be. We wouldn’t even be able to look at each other, let alone be friends. I mean, why would I risk losing Chase altogether when I don’t even know how I feel about it?

Michael: So not worth it.

Brook Lynn: No! [ Sighs ]

Michael: Brook Lynn, you’re looking at this all wrong. Instead of focusing on what you might lose, why don’t you try focusing on — on what you might gain?

Chase: Willow.

Willow: Chase! Uh, sorry to “hi and goodbye,” but I have to run. I don’t want to miss rounds.

Chase: Oh, life of a nurse?

Willow: [ Sighs ] Nurse-in-training. Yeah, I got so caught up talking to Brook Lynn I didn’t even realize the time.

Chase: Oh, you spoke to her on the phone?

Willow: Uh, no, no, in person. She’s at the house right now.

Nikolas: Ryan Chamberlain? Who’s calling you about him?

Ava: It was Kevin. He’s been monitoring Ryan from a distance — keeps tabs on him through the staff at Spring Ridge — but he told me that he went to see him face-to-face.

Nikolas: And?

Ava: And there’s no change. Ryan is still locked inside his body, nice and tight. He wouldn’t even communicate with Kevin, not even the blinkety-blink thing he does.

Nikolas: He shouldn’t be communicating to anyone after what he put you through. They should toss him in a cell and lose the key.

Ava: Is something wrong, Esme?

Esme: No, it’s just, uh… terrible, what Ryan did to you, that’s all.

Ava: Yes. Well, it’s over. And so is he. I’m just relieved that we can plan our ceremony without worrying about that monster. There’s absolutely nothing Ryan chamberlain can do to us from Spring Ridge.

[ Cellphone chimes ]

Ava: Oh, I have to get to the gallery.

Nikolas: Uh, I’m ready to go as well.

Esme: Oh, really? Um… I was hoping we could talk a little more about Spence.

Ava: Stay.

Nikolas: Only if I can walk you out.

Ava: What? [ Laughs ] You’re going to walk downstairs with me just to turn around and walk back up?

Nikolas: I want all the time with you I can get.

Esme: Aww, that’s so sweet.

Ava: They don’t call him a prince for nothing.

Nikolas: Be right back.

Esme: Mm-hmm.

Nikolas: Okay.

Esme: Take your time.

Jake: Mom, are we doing this or what?

Elizabeth: I am so proud of you for agreeing to see Dr. Massey today.

Jake: Can we just get it over with?

Elizabeth: Yeah.

Finn: [ Sighs ]

🎵🎶 Grab onto a gravity 🎵🎶

Brook Lynn: I could really use a friend.
