I know I am. It’s a lot to process. Remember, there are no expectations here, no matter what the kids are saying. You said you wanted to come home? This is your home. The kids and I will always be your safe place. You’re safe.

Brooke: I’ve heard enough out of you, sheila.

Sheila: The truth hurts, doesn’t it, brooke?

Brooke: What do you know about the truth? Nothing. Because this doesn’t even concern you. So, go. Just leave. Get the hell out of my house!

Sheila: You’ve been so cruel to me. Not willing to show one ounce of compassion. And look at where you are. You’re in this great, big house all by yourself. And now, you are finally going to know what it feels like to lose someone you love.

Deacon: If I had known how much trouble this would have caused, I would never have been drinking with your mother. I swear.

Hope: Yeah. You both made quite a mess. But, there is a way you can make it right.

Deacon: You want me to go to ridge and tell him to take your mother back.

Hope: Yes. I want you to try and save their marriage.

Carter: What have we done?

Paris: Exactly what we’re about to do again and again…

Carter: And again.

Hope: I know I’m putting you on the spot.

Deacon: No, it’S… it’s okay. You’re worried about your mother, I get that. I’m just kind of surprised you’re asking me to do this.

Hope: Well, I wouldn’t be asking if it wasn’t important.

Deacon: Fo– forrester despise me. I mean, I got the bruises to prove it. He’s not going to listen to me.

Hope: You know what? Ridge should’ve never done that to you.

Deacon: Hope, listen to me when I tell you this. I could’ve taken him out. I went easy on him. I’m just not sure this is a good idea.

Ridge: I, um… I feel myself here. And you and the kids and their kids, they just make me… I feel a sense of stability. Does that make sense?

Taylor: Yes, it does.

Ridge: And you’re right. This is complicated and… I am. I’m running the gamut.

Taylor: Hey, look. I would be more worried about you if you weren’t experiencing all of these emotions.

Ridge: I know what I’m experiencing. I just wish there was something tangible. And I’m sorry to keep bringing up brooke–

Taylor: Don’t be sorry about it, ridge. You’re processing. This is so important.

Ridge: But, I don’t know if I am processing it because it doesn’t make sense to me. Why does it– why does everything go wrong again?

Sheila: Couldn’t control yourself. You boozed it up. Cheated with deacon.

Brooke: It wasn’t like that.

Sheila: You didn’t turn to deacon? Yeah. That’s what I thought. You know, I’m sure ridge is tired of all the excuses.

Brooke: I am not making excuses. I take full responsibility for what happened that night.

Carter: Mm… we shouldn’t be doing this.

Paris: Give me one good reason.

Carter: I can’T.

Paris: That’s right. You can’T. You have nothing to feel bad about, carter, and neither do I. There’s nothing wrong with anything that’s happening here. So, can we stop thinking about everyone else except the two of us?

Hope: I’m watching her try so hard to keep her marriage from crumbling and she has begged ridge to understand that her loyalty is to him and not to you.

Deacon: But he doesn’t want to hear it.

Hope: I just– I don’t know what else to do.

Deacon: Look, it’s no fun being the cause of their issues. I didn’t come back to L.A. To complicate brooke’s life.

Hope: I believe you. Heck, when I look back on things, I…

[ Hope sighing ] I wish I had respected ridge’s concerns because it did drive a wedge between the two of them and I need to take some responsibility for that.

Deacon: Well, so do I.

Hope: So, are you saying that you will go to ridge and try to make him see the other side of things?

Deacon: Yes, I’ll do it, but I am not making any guarantees.

Taylor: I know you’re still struggling and I don’t want to leave, but I have a paying patient that’s waiting for me, so.

Ridge: A paying patient? Okay, cool. That’s–

Taylor: No, I–

Ridge: No, no, no. Don’t do that. I can sit on your couch a little more. I have money. What do you– what do you need?

Taylor: It’s– it’s about all of this, ridge. It’s about… brooke being brooke. She sabotaged your marriage again. And I know that she is eager to figure out what led her to drink, and so are you. But we may never know why and– and those answers that you are so desperately trying to figure out may never come.

Brooke: You know, sheila? This doesn’t involve you in any way whatsoever. So, just stop sticking your nose where it doesn’t belong.

Sheila: You touch me like that again and this will be the last time that you do. And I could say the same thing for you, brooke. Who are you to try and keep me away from my son? My grandson? Treating me like I’m the town pariah?

Brooke: I am just trying to save them from your influence.

Sheila: My influence? Oh, my god. Like you’re the one to talk about– about that. You get a little tipsy and– and you– you kiss your ex while your husband is stuck in a blizzard?

Brooke: Unlike you, I own my mistakes. There was a part of me that laid dormant for a very long time and it resurfaced somehow. And I still don’t know how and I don’t know why. But, I am making sure I am doing everything I possibly can to make sure that side of me doesn’t materialize again.

[ Sheila laughing ]

Sheila: How self aware. I think it’s too little, too late since ridge has already gone back to taylor. Oh, I guess that mean your destiny with ridge is over.

[ Brooke sighing ]

[ Sheila laughing ] Bummer.

(Ziploc tab zip opening)

Liam: Hey.

Hope: Oh, there you are!

Liam: Yeah, sorry. Driving, couldn’t text you back. What’s going on?

Hope: Yeah, um, so… I did something.

Liam: You did something? What kind of something? What do you mean?

Hope: Um… something that I– that I hope is good and helpful?

Liam: What did you did?

Hope: I asked my dad to go to ridge on my mom’s behalf.

[ Knocking on door ]

Ridge: What the hell are you doing here?

Deacon: Just hear me out before you go–

Ridge: Why do we even have security? Why?

Deacon: I’m here to do something I didn’t think I would do in a million years.

Ridge: And what is that? Tell me that you’re a homewrecking loser? Common knowledge.

Deacon: I’m here to convince you to go back to brooke.

Taylor: Yes, good work today, jamie. Oh, it was my pleasure. So, same time next week, right?

[ Taylor laughing ] I will. See you next tuesday. Brooke. Please don’t come to my office unannounced.

Brooke: I’m sure it’s no secret as to why I’m here.

Taylor: No, I know why you’re here.

Brooke: I’m sure you do. You always have me pegged, all figured out. Well, you should know how fiercely I fight for what I love. And you should know better than anybody that I will never let you steal my husband away.

New poligrip power

Paris: That was incredible. Like, the best ever.

Carter: Just about to say the same thing.

Paris: Then, I guess we must be a perfect match.

Carter: Guess so.

Paris: I know you said you couldn’t do this, but I don’t regret it. We’re free. There’s nothing keeping us from being together.

Liam: You asked deacon to go to ridge?

Hope: Yup. I was hoping that he might be able to convince ridge that the night between him and my mother didn’t mean anything. Do you think I made a mistake?

Liam: Well, I don’t know– I don’t know. Maybe, maybe not? Maybe not. But, you remember what happened last time they were in the same room together, right? They almost ripped each other’s heads off.

Ridge: You came all the way up here to tell me about my wife.

Deacon: Look, I get it, all right. You hate me, I’m the worst guy on the planet, blah, blah, blah. The thought of me and brooke together makes you nuts. It was one kiss.

Ridge: One kiss, two kisses, on top of the covers, under the covers, really doesn’t matter. It was betrayal.

Deacon: You’ve already forgiven her, right? I mean, you– you already forgave her, you can do it again.

Ridge: Thank you, deacon, for telling me what I can and can’t do.

Deacon: You are a stubborn son of a bitch, aren’t you? This is what happened. It was a drunken kiss and then she stopped us from beating the hell out of each other. Now, why can’t you just let it go? Or maybe you don’t want to?

Ridge: What’s that supposed to mean?

Deacon: What it means is you couldn’t have run back to taylor any faster if you were usain bolt, could you? Yeah. I heard all about it. I didn’t hear about it from brooke ’cause I haven’t seen her, but you need to. As much as I hate to admit it, she wants you, not me, you and only you.

Ridge: You really are a piece of work, aren’t you?

Deacon: What– what can I say here? You wanna be mad at somebody, be mad at me, not brooke. Don’t do what you always do, which is run back to taylor crying.

Taylor: Okay. Okay, I understand that you’re upset, brooke, and believe it or not, I… I wish things had gone differently.

Brooke: Me too.

Taylor: Do you remember when I first came back to town? We talked about being friends?

Brooke: Yes. Yes, I do. How ironic, considering you made out with my husband.

Taylor: I did. I don’t think you’re really in a place judge though, are you brooke, really? I mean, how did we get here? It’s the same story, the same patterns over and over. Why?

Brooke: I didn’t come here for a therapy session.

Taylor: Why is it you consistently ruin what you have with ridge? It’s usually with some guy who’s giving you attention. Someone that ridge hates. It’s a dysfunctional pattern you have there, brooke. And you also told my grandson, douglas, just to forget what he saw. Don’t tell anybody. I think you can benefit from getting some help.

Brooke: Possibly. But, how I would benefit most is if you were to keep your hands and your lips off my husband. Are we really doing this again, taylor? I mean, really? Yes, I had one night that I regret with deacon, but I was under the influence. I’m an alcoholic and that’s something I thought you would understand because you’re a professional. You’re a psychiatrist and you help people, but no, no… you took advantage. Ridge was hurt and he was disillusioned. He just needed time to cool off. He would have come back to me that night.

Taylor: But he didn’T.

Brooke: No, he didn’t because you didn’t give him one second before you pounced. You and your children, all over him, getting into his head, keeping him away from me.

Taylor: Brooke, stop.

Brooke: Oh, come on. Don’t even deny it. You know it’s true. What you’re doing is wrong. You’re the one who’s going to end up getting hurt because I love my husband. I am not going to let him go. I’m not going to let our future go. You should know that and I sure as hell am not going to let you, you interfere in my marriage.

Back to the B&B Transcripts Page

Back to the Main Daytime Transcripts Page

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:block"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1056557952271337"
     data-ad-slot="8801203268"
     data-ad-format="auto"
     data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

Bold & The Beautiful Transcript Transcript provided by Suzanne [ Upbeat music ] Taylor: I imagine you’re experiencing every emotion in the book.
