But I am not surprised that you acted like the vindictive bitch that you have always been, and framed him&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Oh, my god, I am not the same woman I used to be.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: The hell you&#8217;re not.<\/p>\n<p>Rafe: Okay, ava, I&#8211; ava, I understand that you are angry. I get that, okay? You&#8217;re upset. I am so sorry. And I understand that you feel betrayed for what I have done. But I have to ask you, did you do this? Did you? Did you frame me? &#8216;Cause right now, we can still get the charges dropped before it&#8217;s too late.<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: When you first came in here, you talked a lot about craig. And then you said, &#8220;what&#8217;s wrong with me? What did I do wrong?&#8221; Are you thinking this is your fault?<\/p>\n<p>Nancy: It is, I mean, not totally, I&#8217;m just&#8211; I&#8217;m just thinking that maybe if I&#8211;if I had tried really hard to be&#8211;to be&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: What? To be what?<\/p>\n<p>Nancy: Marlena, to be what he needed. I mean, I know I&#8217;m stubborn, and&#8211;and I&#8217;m argumentative, and I talk way too much, I just keep going on&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: Stop it. Stop right there. Your husband is gay. That isn&#8217;t your fault. Your husband kept a very big secret from you. And&#8211;and his sexual orientation isn&#8217;t really a choice. But he made a choice to keep that from you. And that&#8217;s what I think is causing you so much pain.<\/p>\n<p>Nancy: But marlena, he&#8217;s destroyed my marriage. I mean, what&#8211;what do I do now?<\/p>\n<p>[Sobs]<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: I get how difficult this must be for you, dad. And I&#8211;I do appreciate you opening up to me. And of course I want you to be happy. Jake. He tried to feed me a chocolate candy.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: The nerve.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: And then there was flower petals everywhere, he woke me up with a rose.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: Is the, uh&#8211; the poor guy still breathing?<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: I wanted to slug the son of a bitch, but you know what? I didn&#8217;T. I listened to your advice. I didn&#8217;t let on that I know he wants to backstab me.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: Well-played.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: But he was so sweet and romantic. I don&#8217;t know, is it possible that I somehow misunderstood when he was talking to maggie about cutting me out of the deal?<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: I wish that were true, gabriella, because I can see how much you love my uncle. But I&#8217;m afraid his conversation with victor&#8217;s wife was no misunderstanding.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: How do you know that? You weren&#8217;t there.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: Maybe not, but I am sorry to say that I have found some indisputable proof that jake is planning to betray you.<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Confess? To framing you?<\/p>\n<p>Rafe: Ava. I know that you&#8217;re upset, but if you ever cared for me&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Oh, I did care for you. I loved you. And you cheated on me with that whore. So, no, I got&#8211;I got nothing to confess. In fact, I&#8217;d say you are guilty as sin. Good luck in court, rafe, &#8217;cause you&#8217;re gonna need it.<\/p>\n<p>Rafe: Ava&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ava: Oh, and too bad you&#8217;re gonna be buried behind bars. Don&#8217;t worry, I&#8217;m sure nicole will wait for you.<\/p>\n<p>[Tense music]<\/p>\n<p>John: That&#8217;s gotta be rough, having all these feelings that you can&#8217;t act on.<\/p>\n<p>Brady: Yeah, that&#8217;s something I have a little experience with.<\/p>\n<p>John: You talking about chloe?<\/p>\n<p>Brady: Yep.<\/p>\n<p>John: So how&#8217;s that going, kid?<\/p>\n<p>Brady: I&#8217;ve made no secret that I have feelings for her.<\/p>\n<p>John: Mm-hmm.<\/p>\n<p>Brady: But the fact that philip is still missing kind of puts everything on hold, dad. But that&#8217;s not what&#8211;[Sighs] That&#8217;s not what matters. What matters is chloe needs to know that she&#8217;s not alone in this. And I&#8217;m gonna be there for her every step of the way.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: You just said that you were worried about hurting mom, but you&#8217;re gonna bring your new boyfriend to salem?<\/p>\n<p>Craig: I didn&#8217;t know he was coming till this morning. We spoke last night. After we hung up, he&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>[Sighs] He booked a flight. Just&#8211;he doesn&#8217;t want any drama, he just wants to support me. If you can&#8217;t do this, I understand, but&#8211; it would mean the world to me if you could meet him, see how happy he makes me. Would you think about it? Please?<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: Okay, I will.<\/p>\n<p>Craig: Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>[Emotional music]<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: Nancy, you and craig have had so many happy years together. A family that you love&#8211; the breakup of a marriage, it&#8217;s&#8211;it&#8217;s a loss.<\/p>\n<p>Nancy: It feels like a death.<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: I know. And you&#8217;re grieving, and&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>[Exhales] There&#8217;s no pill that I can give you, there&#8217;s no easy fix here. It is just going to take time.<\/p>\n<p>Nancy: I was a afraid you were gonna say that.<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: You&#8217;re not alone in this, you know? You got lots of people that are here to help you, that care about you. And if you need even more help, I&#8217;ll be here for you.<\/p>\n<p>Nancy: Thank you, marlena. And thank you for giving me some perspective. Craig used to do things like that for me on valentine&#8217;s day. I guess not this year. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: [Sighs] Life&#8217;s been hard enough.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: Hey.<\/p>\n<p>Brady: Hi.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: Hey, do you have a minute?<\/p>\n<p>Brady: For you, always. Come in.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>Brady: What&#8217;s going on?<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: Oh, I&#8211;I just&#8211; I just saw my dad, and he wants me to meet his new boyfriend.<\/p>\n<p>Brady: When?<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: He&#8217;s on his way to salem right now. He booked his own flight, it wasn&#8217;t my dad&#8217;s idea.<\/p>\n<p>Brady: [Sighs] Uh, what are you gonna do?<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: That&#8217;s the thing, I don&#8217;t know. There&#8217;s&#8211;there&#8217;s a part of me that feels like I&#8217;m betraying my mom, but at the same time, I&#8211;I want to be there for my dad. I know he&#8217;s in pain and I want to support him.<\/p>\n<p>Brady: Right, right. Your dad&#8211;I mean, that&#8217;s not an easy decision, chloe.<\/p>\n<p>Chloe: No, it&#8217;s not easy. And I had an interesting conversation with brady. He, um&#8211; he just told me that craig wesley&#8217;s in town, and he has left nancy for a man.<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: I know. I know, um&#8211;nancy was the person who came in when I was talking to you on the phone.<\/p>\n<p>John: That was her? Ooh. So how&#8217;s she doing?<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: Well, I can&#8217;t really talk about it, but you can imagine she&#8217;s having a very hard time.<\/p>\n<p>[Dramatic music]<\/p>\n<p>[Phone ringing]<\/p>\n<p>Jake: You guys seen gabi? Said she&#8217;d be here. You know, moral support and all.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: Uh, I haven&#8217;t seen her.<\/p>\n<p>Jake: Must have just missed her then, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Rafe: Gabi was never here.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: You have proof? What proof?<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: When you came to me, with what you heard between maggie and jake, I realized I couldn&#8217;t trust my uncle jake, so I decided to do a little digging. I reached out to a contact that I have in the dimera legal department. She shared this with me.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: What is this?<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: This is a formal petition to transfer stefan O. Dimera&#8217;s shares.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: My shares?<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: Your shares to jake.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: He can&#8217;t do that.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: Well, jake makes the argument that you&#8217;re not blood-related, and that as stefan&#8217;s twin, he&#8217;s the rightful heir.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: No, he wouldn&#8217;t do that to me. You&#8217;re lying.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: I wish.<\/p>\n<p>[Sighs] But&#8230; is this jake&#8217;s signature?<\/p>\n<p>[Dramatic music]<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: That bastard.<\/p>\n<p>As a struggling actor,<\/p>\n<p>John: I&#8217;m glad that nancy has found her way to you, because there is not a better person who can give her the kind of support she&#8217;s gonna need.<\/p>\n<p>Marlena: Oh. You know, every time I talk to somebody whose marriage is in trouble, makes me appreciate how precious ours is.<\/p>\n<p>John: Oh, you&#8217;ve got that right, doc.<\/p>\n<p>Craig: [Sighs] Nancy&#8211; I&#8217;m so sorry I hurt you, I&#8211; I hope you know that. And I&#8211;I want you to know that no matter what happens, I&#8217;m still your friend.<\/p>\n<p>Nancy: [Laughs] You are not my friend. You know, I&#8217;m actually kind of relieved.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: How could you say that?<\/p>\n<p>Rafe: Because now it&#8217;s finally all out in the open, and there&#8217;s no reason we can&#8217;t be together. But I will totally understand if you don&#8217;t want to spend the next however many years talking through a wall of glass to a guy in a jumpsuit.<\/p>\n<p>Nicole: I am not gonna let that happen. I am not giving up. I am going to find a way to prove that ava framed you.<\/p>\n<p>Jake: Gabi, gabi, gabi. Said you&#8217;d be with your brother, and you&#8217;re not. Where the hell are you?<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: Okay, that&#8217;s it, I&#8217;m out of here.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: Whoa, where are you going?<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: To kill jake. Where do you think I&#8217;m going?<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: Look, I can be a bit of a hothead myself, but I think we both know, cooler heads will win the game.<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: I&#8217;d rather kill him.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny: Hey, hey, hey. We talked about this, okay? We can use this. Besides, won&#8217;t it be fun to see jake&#8217;s face when we burn him to the ground?<\/p>\n<p>Gabi: Well, you know, when you put it like that, fine.
