We fraternized\u2026a lot. And we crossed many\u2026many lines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> Do you regret it?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> Not one bit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> Then can we just relax? Because nothing has changed, except the fact that we don\u2019t have to pretend we don\u2019t want to rip each other\u2019s clothes off every time we are alone together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally<\/strong>: Well, then I guess we are having our first disagreement, because I am of the mind that finally being together did not put water on the fire. If anything, it was gasoline and it added to the flames.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam<\/strong>: Which is a bad thing?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> Incendiary. Things are going to be hot. And stay that way. As long as we are within 10 feet of each other.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam<\/strong>: Our Valentine\u2019s Day celebration did have an extraordinary aspect to it. A rare, um, intensity, something that you would find in an earthquake. Or a tsunami.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally<\/strong>: Or a wildfire, consuming everything in its path.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> You would not believe me how long it took to clean this office. Everywhere I looked, it was just disorder.<\/p>\n<p>[ Clears throat ] Not that I am complaining<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">*******************<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam<\/strong>: Got to call what\u2019s going on between the two of us something, huh?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally<\/strong>: Eventually.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> Um, well, ladies first. I\u2019d like to hear your ideas. I\u2019m sure you have a few.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> I have given some thought to the two of us and all of the accompanying implications and ramifications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam<\/strong>: Alright.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> I do not regret what happened here. Or over there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam<\/strong>: [ Chuckles ]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> Or what occurred over there. And I definitely, definitely do not regret what happened here. \u2018Cause that was \u2014<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam<\/strong>: Was spectacular.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> You took the words right out of my mouth. Although [Clears throat] I do regret a little bit about what happened to the stapler.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughs ]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> This is\u2026 collateral damage. No, but seriously, what\u2019s on your mind? And be honest.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> I just want to make sure that whatever happened here was not a once-in-a-lifetime event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> Well, I think we both know it wasn\u2019t just a casual hook-up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> We do?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam<\/strong>: I have finally let go enough to be ready for this. I want to be with you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> [ Chuckles ] Is there any way I can convince you to say that again?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> I want you. What about you? And total, total honesty.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> As tempting as it is, I do not want to continue this if it means we\u2019re gonna be sneaking around. Because I don\u2019t want to be your dirty little secret or your guilty pleasure or anything like that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> No, neither do I. Okay? I have too much respect for you to think of you like that.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> You \u201crespect\u201d me?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adam:<\/strong> [ Chuckles ] Are you blushing?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sally:<\/strong> Maybe.
