I can&#8217;t believe that he would put up with something like this.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: He must not be thinking clearly.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: He&#8217;s in a very difficult position.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I&#8217;m sure he&#8217;s feeling very fragile right now.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: To not be able to live up to his wife&#8217;s expectations in the bedroom? I mean, I understand that sex is a very big part of intimacy, but to give quinn a hall pass?<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: How could she even agree to this? How could quinn sleep with carter again?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Thanks for listening.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Of course. I get it. You&#8217;re not in an easy position. But, I don&#8217;t fault you for wanting to get to know your birth mother. It&#8217;s just there is such a complicated history with steffy&#8217;s family and her.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Couldn&#8217;t get any messier, that&#8217;s for sure.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckling ] But, it&#8217;s nice to have someone to talk to. The bellman said you left your sweater down in the lobby.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: And the assistant manager brings it up to me?<\/p>\n<p>Keith: I was just checking in on you.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Thank you. It&#8217;s very kind of you.<\/p>\n<p>Keith: We need the room. You were supposed to be out&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I told you, I&#8217;m not going anywhere until I see my son&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Keith: Your son and your grandson, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Oh, well, you remembered.<\/p>\n<p>Keith: Did you end up texting him?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I did.<\/p>\n<p>Keith: Good for you. You hear anything back?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: No, not yet.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Do you think you&#8217;re going to text sheila back?<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8217;m not sure if I should. Steffy doesn&#8217;t want me to have anything to do with her.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hey!<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Hey, welcome back, how was it?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It was great. We went to the park, got some ice cream.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Ah, rocky road?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You know it.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, but, kelly is going to be wired all day. Where is, where is she?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Which is why I dropped her off at a friend&#8217;s, for a play date. Because I&#8217;m a genius.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Good call.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: So, how&#8217;d everything go? Did we miss anything?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Oh, I&#8217;m sure quinn jumped at the chance.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: It&#8217;s one thing for eric to propose such an arrangement, but it&#8217;s another thing for quinn to actually go along with it.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: She claims to love him, and yet she ends up in carter&#8217;s bed again.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: If she really, truly cared about eric, she wouldn&#8217;t be doing this.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: It doesn&#8217;t matter that he&#8217;s allowing it. It&#8217;s wrong. I mean, no matter how you slice it, quinn is disrespecting eric on a very deep level.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You deserve better than this.<\/p>\n<p>[ Quinn scoffing ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Ridge, I&#8217;ve made a decision, it&#8217;s done. I want my wife to be happy.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Because you think she&#8217;s gonna leave you.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I&#8217;m not leaving your father.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You should leave him, that&#8217;s what he needs.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: All right, I&#8217;ve had enough of this. That&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Brooke, me, steffy, the girls, everyone is here.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: What?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You&#8217;re not gonna be alone, but this one, needs to go. You need to be gone.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Well, maybe texting him was a mistake.<\/p>\n<p>Keith: Why, &#8217;cause the wife doesn&#8217;t like you?<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: It goes a little deeper than that.<\/p>\n<p>Keith: Just give it some time. Not everyone texts back right away, he&#8217;ll respond, eventually.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Well, it&#8217;s not like I&#8217;m in any rush. One way or another, I am going to be a part of my son and my grandson&#8217;s lives.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Children are a blessing, but they&#8217;re also very exhausting.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: That&#8217;s very true, but we had a great time, and, I think, kelly was happy to have us to ourselves.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, I bet. It&#8217;s always so special for her.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, she loved it. She felt like a queen.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Mm, and she should.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And especially since hayes has been getting a lot of the attention, lately.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Well, he kinda earned it. He&#8217;s really cute.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, we&#8217;re not biased or anything.<\/p>\n<p>[ Chuckling ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, kelly, she&#8217;s been a patient big sister, and I am glad she got to spend some time with you guys alone. Just a little bummed you didn&#8217;t bring any ice cream back for hope and me.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I was just about to say the same thinG.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, hello?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Next time we&#8217;ll, well, we&#8217;ll bring it. We won&#8217;t forget.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: We did, it&#8217;s just I ate it. Listen, we&#8217;ll go back for round two, with beth and douglas, how&#8217;s that?<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Sounds good, I am sure they will be up for that.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Well, thank you for making today so easy on all of us.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, we really appreciate it.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Oh, please, you don&#8217;t have to thank me, I know how much kelly loves her mommy and daddy time. Besides, we&#8217;re all one, big family. And family always comes first.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Any wife committed to her husband would never have agreed to go along with this shocking offer.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, quinn has no heart. She certainly doesn&#8217;t have the heart to deal with something like this.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: What heart? I don&#8217;t think she was ever born with one.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: And he just keeps defending her. I mean, he keeps saying these things to keep her around.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: She just brings him down. She&#8217;s taken away all of his pride, and all of his dignity.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, it&#8217;s not fair to keep stringing her husband along like this. If she wants to be with carter, she should be with carter.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah, and set eric free.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You think she&#8217;s doing you a favor? You think it&#8217;s some big sacrifice, having sex with carter? How do you do that? How does carter do that?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Carter is a good man. Carter&#8217;s your best friend.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: No, he&#8217;s not. He&#8217;s not my friend at all. He&#8217;s not who I thought he was.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: That&#8217;s not true. I asked him to be there for my wife in a way that I couldn&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: He could have done the honorable thing and said no, maybe?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: He did, and so did quinn.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: We didn&#8217;t want this. Carter and I fought this.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I pushed it.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Oh you fought it?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yes, we did, you&#8217;re not listening to your father!<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m listening. You know what I hear? You need to get out of this house. Today.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I am glad you live next door to eric. You&#8217;re close by if he needs anything.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: You know, it&#8217;s fun being neighbors. I like knowing that he&#8217;s right down the hill.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah, you can be there for each other. But right now, eric is the one that needs protecting from his crazy wife.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I just wish that he could see himself, the way we see him as this remarkable, attractive man.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I know. He is. He&#8217;s so handsome, and always been so sweet. That&#8217;s why I married him all those years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I&#8217;ve been over there quite a lot, lately, and there&#8217;s just this emptiness about him, that wasn&#8217;t there before.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: We have quinn to thank for that.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, I think he&#8217;s hanging on to this relationship because he doesn&#8217;t want to be alone in that house when he comes home from work. I mean, that&#8217;s what&#8217;s driving this, that fear. The house has always been so alive with children, and grandchildren and parties, and holidays, and weddings, and you know, eric seems lonely. I&#8217;m sure he thinks, &#8220;well, if I lose quinn, &#8220;then what do I have left?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Ridge, I am your father. You can&#8217;t talk to me like this.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m sorry, dad, but someone has to get through to you.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I want you to drop this. I will not be dictated to.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Okay, look. Ridge, you have to listen to your father, okay? Can&#8217;t you see how hard this is for him? How humiliating it is? I mean, I mean, why are you making everything worse?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Oh, I&#8217;m making things worse? How about you take responsibility for things you do, for once in your life? You could have done that, you could have said, &#8220;no, I&#8217;m gonna support my&#8211;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I tried.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: &#8220;I&#8217;m gonna stand by him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I tried to! He wouldn&#8217;t let it happen.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You ran to carter.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: That is not what happened. Eric pushed us together.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I did, I did. She didn&#8217;t do anything that I didn&#8217;t ask her to do.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Of course, it&#8217;s amazing to me. You&#8217;re gonna defend her, until the end of days. How do you do that? She&#8217;s having sex with another man. This isn&#8217;t okay, it&#8217;s not okay. Didn&#8217;t you say you love this man?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I do, he&#8217;s my husband.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well then, there you go. Why don&#8217;t you prove it? Why don&#8217;t you take this ugly picture, and whatever you got, and get out this door? And don&#8217;t come back.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: We are very lucky to have such a happy, healthy bunch of kids.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Yeah, I guess they&#8217;re all pretty great.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Even at three in the morning.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Even when they refuse to nap.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Even when they refuse to do their homework.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: When we have to hear that truck song, over, and over, and over again.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: And over and over and over.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yes, that is kelly&#8217;s current favorite one.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh, you&#8217;ve heard it?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah! Yeah, I have.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, about 1700 times.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Well, it&#8217;s a good thing they&#8217;re so adorable, right?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: All jokes aside, who are we kidding? They are perfect in every way.<\/p>\n<p>Liam: And we&#8217;d be lost without them.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: That&#8217;s true. And honestly, I can&#8217;t wait to get back to hayes.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: There&#8217;s nothing like the connection between a parent and a child.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Under normal circumstances, I would agree, you know, most parents want what&#8217;s best for the children&#8230; there&#8217;s only one exception, you know?<\/p>\n<p>Liam: Oh! You&#8217;re talking about she-who-shall-not-be-named.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. It is wild. Like, out of all the birth mothers out there, you got stuck with sheila. I mean, come on.<\/p>\n<p>Keith: I don&#8217;t mean to be pushy, but my boss is telling me we have this room booked beginning tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You don&#8217;t really think I care about that, do you, keith? I am totally concentrating on seeing my son and my grandson, and when there&#8217;s a will, there&#8217;s way, right? I always get what I want.<\/p>\n<p>Keith: Oh, I can see that. I&#8217;ll talk to my boss about extending the room.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door closing ] Come on, come on, finn. Just text me back. Mama misses her boys. I&#8217;m alphonso, and there&#8217;s more to me than hiv.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone tapping ]<\/p>\n<p>Liam: I can&#8217;t imagine how shocking it must have been to finally meet your birth mother, and then realize that she is, you know, who she is, what she&#8217;s done to the family.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It&#8217;s been a real struggle.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. Sheila&#8217;s made it so hard on finn. She&#8217;s refusing to give up.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: But a mother&#8217;s bond with their child, it can be really strong.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: With sheila? It&#8217;s obsessive.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: I mean, obviously, it&#8217;s not at all, at all the same situation, but I remember when we were told that beth was gone and yet, I still felt her presence, I mean, it can be that powerful.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, I, I get that. But luckily, finn has a mom, li. She&#8217;s been there, and she&#8217;s provided such an amazing connection and a positive outlook on life. I don&#8217;t even know. I&#8217;m sorry, I don&#8217;t know why I&#8217;m bringing up sheila. I just hope to god that she never comes back into our life. Ever again.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone dinging ] I think we&#8217;re ready to go, right? Yeah. And thank you for helping liam and me spend the day with kelly.<\/p>\n<p>Hope: Uh, absolutely.
