I was just looking for ridge and brooke. She said that they were gonna stop by.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Uh, they were here. You just missed &#8217;em.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Okay. Well um, I&#8217;ll text her. Sorry, it&#8217;s late. I don&#8217;t want to interrupt you and quinn.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, no. My wife&#8217;s not here. Quinn&#8217;s out for the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Both kids&#8211; sound asleep.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Thank god. I don&#8217;t want to jinx us, but I think hayes might be finally sleeping through the night? Hi&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Looks that way.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You know what that means.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Mm-hm.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: We haven&#8217;t had many opportunities but dr. Finnegan, I think it&#8217;s gonna be your lucky night.<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn sighing ] Unless you&#8217;re too exhausted from saving lives and singing lullabies.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I think I can muster up some energy.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8217;m liking this bedside manner. You might&#8217;ve missed your calling.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh, no, no, no, no, no. There&#8217;s only room for one doctor in this house and that is you. I mean, you&#8217;re so kind and compassionate. And you&#8217;re such a patient father.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Most of the time.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No seriously, you&#8217;re an amazing dad. You&#8217;ve taken to it beautifully.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8217;m glad I&#8217;m getting high marks.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I couldn&#8217;t ask for more from you. You do so much to help everyone. You really go out of your way. I just think it&#8217;s time that&#8230; I do something special for you.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I probably shouldn&#8217;t say this but I don&#8217;t get how you allowed quinn to come back into this house, into your life.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: She&#8217;s my wife, katie.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Yeah, well&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It works for us. I have every confidence that we&#8217;re going to find wonderful ways to improve our marriage in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Okay, I get it, that you and quinn are the only two people who know what goes on behind closed doors. But you&#8217;re&#8230; you&#8217;re so kind and you&#8217;re so forgiving and maybe too forgiving. And, I don&#8217;t want to see that taken advantage of. I want you to be happy.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I am.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Are you? &#8216;Cause here you are, you&#8217;re&#8211; you&#8217;re at home, all by yourself while quinn is out for the night. I mean, where the hell is she?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Maybe we should stop. I still feel guilty. I&#8211; it doesn&#8217;t matter that eric sent us over here with a note of permission.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Okay. Okay, we can stop&#8230; but I don&#8217;t want to.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Oh god&#8230; here&#8217;s a good halloween trick.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You&#8217;re in a mood tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I can be sweet when I want to be.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Mm, well, I like your soft side. I like every side of you.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Good. Because you&#8217;re stuck with me.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Promise?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, I&#8217;d be a fool to let you go.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: And if we can make it through these last few months relatively unscathed&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: We&#8217;re in a better place because of it. I know how devoted you are to me and our kids. You would do anything for us. I get that. You cut ties with your birth mother and I know that was really hard for you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It was necessary. Our life is too precious to me, steffy. I&#8217;m not gonna let sheila or anyone cause problems for us.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You&#8217;re so incredible, you really are. I couldn&#8217;t imagine doing this without you. Creating this little world.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I think we both got it pretty well.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mm-hm. As long as we have more nights like this&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Mm, you did promise something&#8230; extra special.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Extra special. Buckle up. I mean, given everything she&#8217;s done to you, I would think that she would be savoring every moment<\/p>\n<p>Eric: We spend plenty of time together katie, we do.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, I would think that she&#8217;s on a girls&#8217; night out but she doesn&#8217;t have any friends. I mean, she&#8217;s pretty much alienated everyone around her. You included&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Katie.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Or so I thought.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I haven&#8217;t been the perfect husband. I know that&#8217;s hard for a lot of people to understand. But it&#8217;s true. I&#8217;ve let quinn down. You and brooke think that I&#8217;m somebody that&#8217;s beyond reproach but&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Katie: You are. I mean, to us you&#8217;re about as perfect as any man could be.<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, well, that&#8217;s simply not the truth. You give me way too much credit.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: You and I have known each other for a long time, haven&#8217;t we? And I have never seen you like this. ]<\/p>\n<p>Katie: It just worries me that she&#8217;s&#8211; she&#8217;s finally broken you down. And she makes you feel like you&#8217;re not good enough for her&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, she is&#8211; she doesn&#8217;t make me feel that way. No.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, I don&#8217;t think she knows how lucky she is. I mean, she married well above herself.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, marriages are complicated, katie. Oh wait a minute, you know that as well as anybody.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Okay, fine. That&#8217;s true. But you&#8217;ve giving her everything she wants and needs.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, not everything.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: What are you talking about? She has everything. She has you by her side, she has a beautiful house, she has a thriving career at forrester.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah, well that doesn&#8217;t mean there isn&#8217;t something missing.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Okay. I&#8211; I understand if you don&#8217;t want to talk about this, if it makes you feel uncomfortable.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Okay. When you say that there&#8217;s &#8220;something missing,&#8221; and you&#8217;re not giving her everything that she needs&#8230; are you&#8211; are you talking sexually?<\/p>\n<p>[ Quinn moaning ]<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I can&#8217;t lie. I&#8217;ve been wanting this, to be in your arms again.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: It&#8217;s all I&#8217;ve wanted. I know how amazing you are and I know I keep saying that&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, you can&#8211; keep saying that. It&#8217;s fine. I can&#8211; I can take it.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I just kind feel like I&#8217;ve hit you with a lot of quinn negativity today.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It kind of runs in your family, doesn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Mm. Well, the admiration for you runs deep in the logan family. Between brooke and donna and me, well, we&#8217;re big fans.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;m a big fan of the logan girls, too.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: I just think it&#8217;s important for you to know how beloved you are. You are.<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Quinn did this messed up thing by having an affair with carter, someone who&#8217;s younger, so it&#8217;s only natural for you to feel like&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You know what I feel like? I feel frustrated with myself, with my&#8211; with my life, where it is right now. I&#8217;m living in this house by myself!<\/p>\n<p>Katie: Well, maybe that&#8217;s it. Maybe that&#8217;s it. You&#8217;re compromising because you&#8217;re afraid of being alone. And that&#8217;S&#8230;normal. We all feel like that sometimes, believe me! You are eric forrester. You don&#8217;t have to compromise. Look at everything you&#8217;ve done. You&#8217;ve created this like, huge, cultural entity: Forrester creations. You&#8217;ve raised six accomplished children. You&#8217;ve contributed so much to the world and to everyone around you. You&#8217;re a freaking legend.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughing ] Your art, talent&#8230; as a designer, as a philanthropist. Speaker of four languages. Mentor to young fashion students. You&#8217;re an icon and the best thing is that your best years are still in front of you so you don&#8217;t have to settle. Not professionally, not personally, so you don&#8217;t have to do it now and you don&#8217;t have to do it for quinn. Please eric, I&#8211; I hate seeing you like this.
