He&#8217;s thinking about what he thinks I need. And if he thinks this is the only way to give me a life full of passion and desire, then&#8230; then he&#8217;s willing to do it.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: But are we?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Tell me. Tell me what&#8217;s going on with you.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: This is a place of business right here. And that&#8217;s my personal life. I think it&#8217;s been discussed quite enough in this office.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Your personal life? What else would it be, dad? We&#8217;re family, I&#8217;m your son. I&#8217;m concerned about you. Yes, it&#8217;s personal, of course it is. So, I&#8217;m asking you on a personal level. This reunion with quinn&#8230; wasn&#8217;t all candlelight and fireworks, was it?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh! What.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Hm.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: What was that for?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It&#8217;s the first time we&#8217;ve been alone all day.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. You trying to make me forget about your uh&#8230; dad joke competition with liam? Wow.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Nah, that was fun.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, today was fun.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: It was. I love seeing the kids together.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I know. Kelly was so proud, showing off her little brother to&#8211; to douglas and beth. So cute.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Well, I think we all have a lot to be proud of today.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Mm-hm. This is what hope and I wanted for so long. Just to be a big, blended family. And it didn&#8217;t seem possible. But then I met you. What hope said today, about me never been happier&#8230; it&#8217;s true, I am. It&#8217;s because of you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: The kids are napping. Amelia&#8217;s gone. I&#8217;m going to take you to the bedroom.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I like the sound of that. Steffy: Oh my gosh, we have company. We have com-pa-ny!<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Sorry. I&#8217;m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Um&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You know, I really wish you wouldn&#8217;t be so quick to jump on quinn.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: It&#8217;s not what I&#8217;m doing. You must know by now I don&#8217;t care what happens to quinn. I care what happens to you. And I&#8217;m only telling you what I&#8217;m seeing. What I&#8217;m seeing doesn&#8217;t make sense. You wanted her out of your life for very good reason. And now you want her back. And&#8211; and no one knows why. No one can talk to you about it. So, something is going on. Am I wrong?<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opening ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Oh, good, you&#8217;re both here. These samples just came in and I&#8211;uh&#8230; you&#8217;re in the middle of something.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah. I&#8217;m trying to convince this guy that I&#8217;m concerned about him.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: We both are, eric.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Well, I don&#8217;t want to be uh&#8211;I don&#8217;t want to seem ungrateful or unkind, but I would&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Here it goes. No, I know what you&#8217;re going to say. &#8220;You cannot blame quinn for anything, ever.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: It&#8217;s hard not to. You say that you want a life with her. You say you want her back, and that you&#8217;re happy, but you don&#8217;t seem happy, eric. In fact, you seem more troubled since you and quinn have reconciled. Why is that?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Obviously eric still thinks there&#8217;s a connection between us.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: He&#8217;s not wrong. But&#8230;he doesn&#8217;t understand. Quinn, if we do this, if we give into our feelings&#8230; it can get very complicated.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Door knocking ]<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Mom, are you&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Hey, sweetheart.<\/p>\n<p>[ Clearing throat ]<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Uh&#8230;am i interrupting something here?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Not at all.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Oh, really? So, I should just ignore the fact that you guys literally jumped away from each other?<\/p>\n<p>Frank is a fan of fast.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s a fast talker.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I should have backed up the second I saw you guys. But I&#8217;m just no good at sneaking around.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: No, that&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;s a good thing. I&#8211;I like that in a house guest.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, me, too.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: You guys don&#8217;t get to spend much time together, and here I am, interrupting. I&#8217;ll go up to my room. I don&#8217;t mean to make things awkward, um, but after everything you&#8217;ve been through, it&#8217;s really great to see you guys like this.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, I agree.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: So that means everything with sheila worked out? You guys don&#8217;t have to worry about her anymore?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: So, everything is good, right? There are no problems? But then answer this, why are you acting this way?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I&#8217;ve asked you time and time again to stop harping on this, to leave it alone. But you won&#8217;T. That&#8217;s why I&#8217;m acting like this. It&#8217;s annoying!<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Ah.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Why would you want us to let it go, eric? All we&#8217;re doing is expressing our concern.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I mean obviously something is wrong. We can see it. Even last night when I talked to you on the phone, I could hear it in your voice.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: We can see what&#8217;s going on, why can&#8217;t you? Why can&#8217;t you see that we&#8217;re here because we love you and we want to support you?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Quinn and I have been more open to one another recently than we ever have been in our lives together. We&#8217;ve been very, very honest with one another.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: And that&#8217;s good. Honesty&#8217;s good. You know what else is good? Trust. Companionship.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: And warmth. And affection.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You were talking earlier about challenges that families go through. We&#8217;ve had more than most. And when we found our way back to each other, it was magical. It was amazing, we didn&#8217;t leave the house for days. We didn&#8217;t leave the bedroom and there was things happen that&#8217;s&#8211; that&#8217;S&#8230;not important. But I want that for you, dad. And I gotta tell you, this&#8230; little reunion with quinn doesn&#8217;t seem as joyous to me.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: You probably wanted things to go back the way they were. But maybe that&#8217;s just not possible. And there&#8217;s no shame in that. Eric, you&#8217;re a man who values honesty. You value integrity. And maybe you just don&#8217;t feel that same way now after quinn betrayed you. You know, maybe there&#8217;s no love, there&#8217;s no passion. It&#8217;s gone.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: You know, this isn&#8217;t the first time I&#8217;ve walked in on the two of you.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: At the office? Where we both work.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: It didn&#8217;t look like you were exactly crunching numbers here, mom&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Wyatt, there is nothing going on. If you have to know, we were talking about eric. Your mom&#8217;s one hundred percent focused on him, doing whatever it takes to make their marriage last.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Okay, good. I mean you can understand why there&#8217;s questions, right? Considering everything that&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: The only question I&#8217;m asking myself is how I can be the best wife to my husband. Look, eric has been very generous with me. He&#8217;s willing to give me whatever it takes to make me feel appreciated and&#8211; and desired. And&#8211; and now I have to make sure that I&#8217;m&#8211; I&#8217;m giving eric everything he needs from me.<\/p>\n<p>If you have postmenopausal<\/p>\n<p>osteoporosis<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Um, um&#8211;I&#8211; I brought up a bad subject.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, no, no, no, it&#8217;s&#8211;it&#8217;s alright. Finn made it clear to sheila that she&#8217;s no longer welcome&amp; in his life or hayes&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Well, did she accept that? Did she leave?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: We don&#8217;t know where she is.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: We have to keep an eye out. You too, paris. If you hear or see anything, we need to know immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Absolutely. Uh&#8230; I&#8217;m&#8211;I&#8217;m sorry I even brought it up. I know it&#8217;s a heavy subject.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It&#8217;s really important that sheila stays out of our lives. For good this time.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It&#8217;s pretty easy to judge from the outside looking in.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Eric, we&#8217;re not judging you!<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yes, you are, brooke. Yes, you are!<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Please, you don&#8217;t have to hide anything from us. Admitting that you made a mistake can be hard. And it can feel like a failure. But it&#8217;s not. It&#8217;s strong and it&#8217;s courageous. But that&#8217;s who you are, eric. You&#8217;re always trying to do the right thing and putting other people first. But it&#8217;s not worth it. It&#8217;s not worth sacrificing your own well-being just to honor a commitment.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: This is my marriage. What goes on in my marriage is my business. It&#8217;s not yours. Quinn and I know what we&#8217;re doing. We&#8217;re going to take care of this ourselves. I want this to be the end of it. Excuse me.<\/p>\n<p>[ Door opening and closing ]<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Look, I don&#8217;t mean to make you defensive.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: You&#8217;re concerned about your mom.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: I just I know how much my mother loves eric and how great they are together.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Okay, I&#8217;ve made so many mistakes with eric and I don&#8217;t want to make another one, okay? Eric and I are&#8211;are&#8230; are trying to create a marriage that works for both of us.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Good. I just don&#8217;t want you to take that for granted.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Believe me, I don&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Okay. I&#8217;m just saying that it was miraculous&#8230; the way he took you back after everything you did to him, giving you another chance. Like, that&#8211; that is a very special kind of love.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I know, wyatt.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: It&#8217;s not if you know eric. The way he reacts to challenges. His first thought is always everyone else. He wants things to be better.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Eric is a remarkable man. A man who thinks that a life with me is&#8230; worth every sacrifice. He&#8217;s willing to do&#8230; whatever he thinks I need to feel happy and fulfilled.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: And you&#8217;re going to give that back to him though, right? I&#8217;m just saying. I don&#8217;t want you to miss out on this, mom. Whatever eric needs, whatever he asks you to do&#8211; just do it. (Susan n) leonard was afraid<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Having a little trouble with this one?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Ah, just uh&#8230; just a bit distracted. I&#8217;ve a lot on my mind.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I understand.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I don&#8217;t really think you do. You think you know what I want. But you don&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Remember the day we got married?<\/p>\n<p>[ Scoffing ]<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: How can I forget?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: It was just you and me. You and me and the minister.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah, yeah. &#8216;Cause your family protested and they refused to show up.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Yeah. They were sure I would call it off. They had no idea how much&#8230; I loved you. They had no idea how far I would go to give you what you want. I promised that I would&#8211; that I would give you happiness and joy and&#8211; and fulfilment in your life. I could still do that. Here.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: What&#8217;s this?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Sensitive material. It&#8217;s&#8211;it&#8217;s for carter.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Carter isn&#8217;t here, he went home for the day.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I know. Take it to him. I&#8217;ll see you at home.<\/p>\n<p>[ Sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Dad knows what he wants.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Yeah. Maybe I shouldn&#8217;t have said anything. I made him feel like he had to defend quinn.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m sure he felt that way from the moment he met her.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: I just don&#8217;t get it. Eric is so&#8230; he&#8217;s amazing. He&#8217;s generous and thoughtful and giving and&#8230;quinn is just the opposite.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: You&#8217;re right, he is thoughtful. So, let&#8217;s hope he thought this through.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Is that your way of telling me not to worry?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Only if you can tell me the same thing.<\/p>\n<p>Brooke: Well, your father is an amazing man. His ability to love is&#8230; extraordinary. He&#8217;s fearless and boundless. Quinn doesn&#8217;t deserve him. No man has ever given her what eric has.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Look, I told you. My sex life is over.
