Waiting to hear back from her.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Well, anything you can do is appreciated. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yeah, I know you&#8217;re worried about steffy. I&#8217;ll convey the urgency.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I am worried. Got sheila running around with some kind of&#8230; biological claim on her family. I&#8217;m also a little worried about my dad.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: I&#8217;m trying to get used to the idea that my dad forgave quinn and took her back.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I was caught off guard, too. But I&#8217;m guessing no one&#8217;s more surprised than quinn, right?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: She should be surprised after what she did&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Look, I genuinely want what&#8217;s best for those two. Eric and quinn love each other deeply. They belong together.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: A dance, my love?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Ooh.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Right this way.<\/p>\n<p>[ Romantic music ] Now you spin.<\/p>\n<p>[ Quinn laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>[ Quinn moaning ]<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Is everything okay?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: What could be wrong? Sheila is your birth mother and you don&#8217;t want to shut her out. But you have another family, another family who needs to be protected from her!<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I am not a threat! Not to steffy! Not to the kids! I just want to know my son and my grandson!<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Griffith: Everything all right in here?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Uh yeah, it&#8217;s under control, dr. Griffith. Do you have the results?<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Griffith: Your tests and blood work came back normal. No dehydration. Good news, ms. Carter. You appear to be fine. I&#8217;ll have the nurse get your discharge started.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Thank you, doctor.<\/p>\n<p>[ Steffy laughing ]<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You see? She&#8217;s fine! There was nothing wrong with her to begin with! Sheila played you, finn. Oh, she played you. Some people have joint pain,<\/p>\n<p>Carter: So, you don&#8217;t buy it? You don&#8217;t believe that eric and quinn love each other?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: After everything that went down, no. I&#8217;m not buying any of it.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: But see, that&#8217;s it. That&#8217;s how the whole thing went down. Look, I was messed up after zoe, quinn was reeling from eric&#8217;s rejection, ridge. That&#8217;s how this happened. That was the perfect storm.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Hey, why don&#8217;t we do this. Why don&#8217;t we see what happens tonight. Dad has planned something special for her. He&#8217;s a master of romance. So, we&#8217;ll see. Hey, I learned from him believe it or not.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Did you learn from him?<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Hm.<\/p>\n<p>Ridge: Let&#8217;s get on with your night. Keep your shirt on.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I&#8217;ll try.<\/p>\n<p>[ Phone ding ]<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Sorry to leave you even for a moment. Something I had to take care of.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: No problem.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You admiring your portrait, are ya?<\/p>\n<p>Well, I can&#8217;t help it.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No reason you should have to. I know how significant it is to you.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Every time I look at that portrait, it just&#8211; it reminds me of how far I&#8217;ve come. I mean, I am married to mr. Eric forrester. I get to call this beautiful mansion my home. My jewelry line is successful beyond my wildest dreams, and&#8230; it&#8217;s all because of you. &#8216;Cause you love me. &#8216;Cause you opened your heart to me. I know you&#8217;re going through a really challenging time right now, but you know you&#8217;re not alone. I&#8217;m your wife. And I will always be right here, by your side.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: My beautiful quinn.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I love you&#8230; with every ounce of my being. And there is not one challenge out there that we can&#8217;t face together.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: When you say it, I believe it.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah! You should believe it. You should. Eric, I know I&#8217;ve hurt you in the past, I have let you down. That&#8217;s never gonna happen again. My commitment to you is 1000%<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I know that now, more than ever.<\/p>\n<p>[ Quinn moaning ]<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: I just, I wish there were something that I could say or do that would put a dent- in this hostility that you&#8217;re directing towards me.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You can make it go away altogether. Leave and never come back.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Steffy.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: She&#8217;s a liar. This whole collapse&#8211; it was&#8211;it was a hoax. You realize that?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I don&#8217;t want to argue about that right now. I&#8217;m just glad that sheila&#8217;s okay.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You know, your concern means a lot to me. It shows me that you do care about what happens to me.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I realize I owe you both an answer&#8230; from earlier. There&#8217;s only one thing I can do. Only one decision I can make.<\/p>\n<p>Hey look at this!<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I don&#8217;t know if your collapse was real or if you faked it. I mean, I certainly hope you didn&#8217;T. I&#8217;m glad you&#8217;re okay.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: You&#8217;re a compassionate man and I am so proud to call you my son.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: When you told me you were my birth mother, I&#8217;d never been more shocked, or unprepared. I&#8217;ve wondered about you since dad and li told me I was adopted. What was your name? Did I look like you? Why couldn&#8217;t you keep me? I had so many questions that I never thought would be explained to me and then suddenly, there you were. Telling me things that I wanted to know. You gave me up so I would have chances in life that you weren&#8217;t equipped to give me. It was overwhelming, to say the least. You&#8217;ve had a profound impact on me and I&#8217;m glad we met. But my commitment is with steffy and our family. I wish you the best but I can&#8217;t have a relationship with you, not with my wife so against it. I&#8217;m sorry, but I can&#8217;t see you again, sheila. I know it&#8217;s difficult but I don&#8217;t want you to worry. We&#8217;re gonna get through this.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: You so beautifully expressed your devotion to me, but we have to be realistic. You&#8217;re a young, vibrant, sexy woman and you have needs that I may no longer be able to fulfill. Things that can only be expressed by making love.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I don&#8217;t want you to think that way. C&#8217;mon, who knows what the future&#8217;s gonna hold! And no doctor has said this condition is permanent. Stop putting extra pressure on yourself by worrying about my needs. I&#8217;m happy, eric. I know how close the two of you have become.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I&#8217;m sorry&#8230; where are we going with this?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Nowhere. We&#8217;re not going anywhere with this. It stops here. Eric, you and I are back together. Why&#8211;why are we bringing up something so painful when we&#8217;ve already moved past it?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I didn&#8217;t ask carter here to rehash the past. You&#8217;re absolutely right. We&#8217;ve moved beyond that. My beautiful wife has moved home and she&#8217;s here in this house, with me. But I&#8217;m not able to be the husband to quinn that she deserves.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Eric.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Look, this is, um. This is not a comfortable subject for me to talk about. I&#8217;ve seen doctors and so far, it&#8217;s been unsuccessful and, um&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Carter: You&#8217;re sick? I was concerned something was wrong. I asked quinn but she didn&#8217;t tell me.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: No, no, no. Of course, she wouldn&#8217;T. And I love her for that.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Why are you doing this?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: At first, I tried to blame quinn for my shortcomings but I realized what I was really doing was just&#8230; covering my shame. I&#8217;m not able to satisfy my wife. You see what I mean, don&#8217;t you?<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Yes&#8230; yes, and wow, um. I don&#8217;t know what to say, eric, but I&#8217;m sorry.<\/p>\n<p>Eric: I was hoping for a spontaneous breakthrough when quinn moved home but unfortunately that hasn&#8217;t happened.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Eric, why are you telling carter this?<\/p>\n<p>Eric: Because I&#8217;ve come to the conclusion that just because my sex life is over, doesn&#8217;t mean yours has to be.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Hayes goes down so much easier than kelly did at that age. So nice.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: That age? She still fights it with everything she&#8217;s got.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, and then all of a sudden she just passes out.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Should I open some wine?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Oh babe, please. That sounds so great. Oh my goodness.<\/p>\n<p>[ Finn sighing ]<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I need to apologize again to you for sending that emoji to sheila. It was an impulse and I followed it. I mean, I should never have responded at all.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;m glad you realize that now.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8230;I truly believed that she was out of our lives. That&#8217;s why I didn&#8217;t tell you. I thought it was one and done and I didn&#8217;t want to worry needlessly. I know now that was the wrong call.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Well, you can&#8217;t beat yourself up. You were in a terrible position. And I get it, you wanted to know your mother. You were curious and that&#8217;s a completely normal reaction but, sheila is far from normal. I mean, faking a fall like that? That just proves that she hasn&#8217;t changed. She&#8217;s still this twisted, obsessive woman. But I am glad that you put your foot down, and you told her that she couldn&#8217;t be in your life, or hayes&#8217;. We still need to be vigilant. We have to keep our guard up. She doesn&#8217;t just walk away quietly. But you did the right thing breaking ties with her. And I&#8217;m really proud that you put our family first.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Always.<\/p>\n<p>Sheila: Boy, it would be a mistake to count me out.<\/p>\n<p>[ Grunting ] The forresters! They all write me off. They&#8211; they throw me away like I&#8217;m trash. But I will be a part of this family. Finn is my son and hayes is my grandson and I will be a part of their lives. And you better not try to stop me, steffy, or you&#8217;re gonna pay.
