You?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: No, um, day off. Which is good.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Rough night.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah. The worst. I just&#8230; I hate being away from steffy, and it does not help there&#8217;s no air conditioning in here.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I mean, she&#8217;s up. You should go see her.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I&#8217;m on my way. She wants to talk before we go the courthouse. We have an appointment to file our marriage certificates. I&#8217;m hoping that&#8217;ll get us back on track.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Yeah, me, too.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Thanks.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I know you guys are going to work through this. She loves you, how could she not?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I&#8217;ll miss you, I feel like I&#8217;m leaving a part of me behind. Carter, I love you.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I love you too.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Carter.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Quinn. You&#8217;re back at work.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah. Don&#8217;t let me interrupt yours.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Wait, wait. Quinn, uh. Don&#8217;t go. I was just thinking about you. How was your homecoming with eric? Bet it was quite the celebration.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Eric, erectile dysfunction is nothing to be ashamed of.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Eric and I had a lovely evening.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Did you do anything special?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: We just talked.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Talking is good place to start.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: It was actually pretty emotional. We&#8230; we hadn&#8217;t been that open and honest with each other in a very long time.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Hey. Thought I heard you in here. With carter?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Hi, sweetie.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Your mom was just telling me about her reunion with eric.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Oh, yeah. Exciting news.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Very.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: I got your text. I wanted to congratulate you in person, but uh, do I have to remind you not to screw this up?<\/p>\n<p>Zende: This looks much better. What do you think of these changes, charlene, how do they feel?<\/p>\n<p>Charlene: I thought it was perfect before, but you&#8217;re the designer.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Yeah. One of the best in the building.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Workin&#8217; on it.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Don&#8217;t let me slow you down.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: No, I think we&#8217;re done for now. Thank you.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Wow, very good. You know, I think charlene wanted to spend a little bit more time with you.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: The only woman I want to spend any time with is standing in front of me.<\/p>\n<p>[ Paris sighing ] Everything all right?<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I don&#8217;t know&#8230; you&#8217;re steffy&#8217;s cousin, so, it&#8217;s not like she&#8217;s going to keep this from family.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Something&#8217;s going on with steffy?<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I&#8217;m worried about her relationship with finn.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: The kids still asleep?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah. There&#8217;s coffee.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Thanks. I, I need it.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I didn&#8217;t sleep much either. It was weird not having you in bed with me.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, it was. It was awful. Look, steffy, I am so sorry that I allowed sheila to hold our son. It was horrible error in judgment. I broke my promise to you. I betrayed your trust. Look, I&#8217;m not making excuses. But I swear for one, one stupid moment, I really did think that I was protecting our family. But I was wrong. And I will do anything I can to make it up to you. (Drill sergeant) what a pleasant morning. It&#8217;s warm, but not too warm.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: So you guys were just talking about eric?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Well, I guess our reunion is a pretty big deal around here.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I was congratulating your mom, wyatt. She and eric are happy again and I am happy for them.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Yeah, me too.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: You know what would make me happy? A wedding. Yes, I mean, not mine, of course, I&#8217;m talking about yours.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: No.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: You and flo have been engaged far too long.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: No. No, no, no. Do not start hounding flo about our wedding day.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: No, see I don&#8217;t see it as hounding, I see it more like helping.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: You know what? You know where flo is? Because I have to take her for lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: No, I don&#8217;t, but wherever you take her, see if they have a catering menu.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: It&#8217;s good to see you acting like yourself again, mom.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Thank you, honey.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Right, well, congratulations again. I will see you later, all right?<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Okay.<\/p>\n<p>Wyatt: Carter.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Wyatt. Well, he seems genuinely pleased for you and eric.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah, yeah, he does. But not everybody feels that way. Brooke and ridge for instance, they think that our reconciliation is a terrible mistake. What about you? I heard what you said to wyatt, how do you really feel about me and eric being back together?<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Steffy must have lost her mind when she walked in and saw sheila holding her baby.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Yeah, finn feels awful about it.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Did sheila actually leave?<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: So she&#8217;s still here? No wonder you&#8217;re worried.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I&#8217;m concerned about that, but also how it&#8217;s impacting their marriage, you know? Finn spent the night in the guest house.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Oh wow.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I just, I can&#8217;t believe steffy threw him out of the house for that, I mean, it seems a little extreme. And how are they going to deal with this if she can&#8217;t even look at him?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Finn, I love you. But I&#8217;m trying to understand how you could put our son into the hands of the monster who shot my mother and terrorized my family after I told you to stay away from her.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I can&#8217;t defend that. I can&#8217;t defend it. All I can say is that nothing like that will ever happen again. Look, I love you, steffy. I love our son and kelly and I love our life together. I&#8217;m not going to let anyone, or anything ever come between us. Look, I just, I just need you to believe me that I won&#8217;t let you down again. We&#8217;re supposed to go to the courthouse today and make our marriage official. It&#8217;s the perfect reset. Our marriage can begin today. By signing those papers it can be more than just a formality. It can be a renewal of our commitment and our faith in each other. We need this, steffy, we need this for us and our future together. There are times, I wonder&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I meant what I said to wyatt.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: So did I.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Doesn&#8217;t mean I don&#8217;t miss you. Look, I know how important your marriage is and I&#8217;m glad you and eric were able to put it back together.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Things aren&#8217;t exactly been the same.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: You said you guys were being more honest with each other.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: You think you know what&#8217;s going on with someone, how they are thinking, and they&#8217;re feeling, and then you find out that you&#8217;ve got it all wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;s been difficult for eric. Being separated from you. I&#8217;m sure he couldn&#8217;t wait to get you in his arms, and be close to you. Yeah, it must have been really fulfilling being back home with him.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Man, you are really invested in this.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I mean, finn has stood by steffy through so much.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: They probably just need some space, look at us. We decided to take a step back, slow things down a little bit, and I would say, we&#8217;re in a better place because of it.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: We are.<\/p>\n<p>Zende: Hey, just the other day you were telling me how much in love they are. I am sure they will patch things up.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Yeah, and finn is ready to do that, if only steffy will give him a chance. I live with them, zende, I see them, I see how they are as a couple, with the kids. Finn is so good for steffy you know? And, and he&#8217;s caring and devoted, and you know he actually cares about her happiness. She has to see that. And she has to forgive him so that they can move on.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I never questioned your love for me or mine for you. You changed my life, and I&#8217;m so grateful for that. From the moment I met you, I knew I could trust you. I felt safe with you. You never let me down&#8230; until now.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Look, I wasn&#8217;t trying to defy you or diminish any of your fears.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: No, and I want you to know that I do trust you, and I know that you would never lie to me.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Never.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Well, I can&#8217;t hide this from you. On our wedding day, when we said our vows, I vowed to be there for you, like you are for me. And when there is a challenge, we don&#8217;t avoid it. We step up and we face it.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: We can, we can do that together.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Yeah, um. I know we&#8217;re supposed to file our marriage certificate today. But finn, I&#8230; I can&#8217;T. I can&#8217;t do it knowing sheila is out there. She was at our house. She held our child. I can&#8217;t go to the courthouse with you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You don&#8217;t want to leave the kids with amelia? You&#8217;re scared sheila is gonna show up?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I can&#8217;t finalize our marriage right now, finn.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You said you believe me.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I&#8217;m not trying to punish you. I just can&#8217;t get that image out of my mind.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Sheila, she was just holding him. She wasn&#8217;t hurting him. She wasn&#8217;t going to run off. I was right there. I wouldn&#8217;t have let her do anything to hurt hayes. You know that.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: Her being here, finn, wasn&#8217;t an accident. She knew what she was doing. At the wedding reception, she told me she wanted to see our son. I said that was never going to happen. But she found a way.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: You&#8217;re afraid she could do it again, but I&#8217;m telling you&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: You do not know what&#8217;s she&#8217;s capable of! You don&#8217;T. If you did, you wouldn&#8217;t have her anywhere near our child! Now she feels as though she made inroads with you&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Finn: She hasn&#8217;t!<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: She&#8217;s going to keep trying, trust me. I know this. She&#8217;s going to keep trying and trying and manipulate her way back into our lives, I can&#8217;T. I can&#8217;t live with that! I can&#8217;t!<\/p>\n<p>Finn: So, what are you saying?<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: I can&#8217;t think about anything else, until I can stop thinking about sheila.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: But if we don&#8217;t file the papers, we aren&#8217;t officially married.<\/p>\n<p>Steffy: It&#8217;s not you. It&#8217;s her. I can&#8217;t do this. I don&#8217;t want sheila connected to this. To us. I&#8217;m not saying it&#8217;s not going to happen. But I can&#8217;t finalize our marriage today.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: I&#8217;m still trying to process everything.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: Things are good, though, right? Being back home.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: Yeah.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: But it&#8217;s not the same.<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: No. Well&#8230; I think eric and I both changed. We had experiences while we were apart. We, we&#8230; we learned things about ourselves and&#8230; we&#8217;re just trying to be open and honest about all of it.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: All of it? You didn&#8217;t tell him about&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[ Pen clattering ]<\/p>\n<p>Quinn: No. I didn&#8217;T.<\/p>\n<p>Carter: And there&#8217;s no reason to. &#8216;Cause that&#8217;s in the past. And I&#8217;m glad that you&#8217;re back in the office and home with eric, but&#8230; I&#8217;ll miss what we had. I miss holding you, I miss lying in bed together. Making love to you. Look, I&#8217;m sorry if I&#8217;m making you feel uncomfortable. And I promise that I won&#8217;t bring it up every time we&#8217;re alone. But you asked how I really felt. And you&#8217;re committed to eric.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Hey, hey, checking on you. Can I come in?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Uh, sure.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Did you just go for a run?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Yeah, it&#8217;s probably not the best way to cool off.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Well, I thought I would see steffy after the courthouse. And uh&#8230; how&#8217;d it, how&#8217;d it go? Finn: I don&#8217;t know. It didn&#8217;T. I can&#8217;t believe it.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Oh. Uh, what happened?<\/p>\n<p>Finn: Steffy canceled the appointment. She can&#8217;t finalize our marriage while sheila&#8217;s still out there.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: I mean, you&#8217;re already married. You just gotta sign a few papers.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: She can&#8217;t get past what happened with sheila and hayes.<\/p>\n<p>Paris: Well, steffy can&#8217;t blame you.<\/p>\n<p>Finn: I promised to protect her. I gave her my word that I would protect her and our family. From the moment we met, I&#8217;ve only had one goal. It&#8217;s to make this incredible woman feel safe and secure. And that is not how she is feeling right now.
