He&#8217;s able to travel through time and space with his Tardis, helping and saving beings. He&#8217;s had many traveling companions through the years. When The Doctor dies, he can regenerate, so he comes back looking very different. In 2018, The Doctor returned as a woman. In 2022, Ncuti Gatwa took over the role.
